Reason for the Rogue Placement:

Affiliate Club have changed their contract with affiliates RETROACTIVELY to force affiliates to either promote them or lose all of their commissions from past players already sent. This is a breach of the affiliate contract and at this point Affiliate Club should not be trusted.

PREDATORY TERM, Commissions, Predatory Term, Active Affiliate Rule

1.4 “Active Affiliate” means:

1.4.1 Casino: an Affiliate who sends at least 1 (one) new active player per month that will wager 100 EUR; or has a wager amount of 100 EUR performed by one or more players.

1.4.2 Poker: an Affiliate who sends a player that will generate a minimum amount of Rake of 5 EUR.

PREDATORY TERM, Termination, Predatory Term, Active Affiliate Rule

5.2 Upon termination:You must remove all of our banners/icons from your site and disable the link from your site to ours. All rights and licenses given to you in this Agreement shall immediately terminate. If you have failed to fulfill your obligations and responsibilities , we will not pay the Commission otherwise owing to you on termination. We may withhold your final payment for a reasonable time to ensure that the correct amount is paid.If we continue to permit play from customers after termination, this will not constitute a continuation or renewal of this Agreement or a waiver of termination.

PREDATORY TERM, Termination, Predatory Term, Active Affiliate Rule

5.2 Upon termination:

5.2.1 You must remove all of our banners/icons from your site and disable the link from your site to ours.

5.2.2 All rights and licenses given to you in this Agreement shall immediately terminate.

5.2.3 If you have failed to fulfill your obligations and responsibilities the Commission owned to you upon will not be paid.

5.2.4 The outstanding balance of Commission that you are entitled to receive upon termination will be paid within 60 days of the effective termination date.

5.2.5 If we continue to permit play from customers after termination, this will not constitute a continuation or renewal of this Agreement or a waiver of termination.

5.2.6 You shall stop receiving the Commission:If you or your representatives act in a way that diminishes and/or tarnishes the image and or reputation of AffiliateClub.com. If you are not an “Active Affiliate”, according to the definition herein.

This term is NOT GOOD FOR AFFILIATES. It shows that Affiliate Club does NOT honor their contracts and it shows a willingness to find profit for themselves in affiliate pockets.

John, from Affiliate Club, has stated that it will be applied on a 'case by case' basis. However - contracts cannot be applied as such. Trust has been broken.

PLEASE - If you value your earnings, do NOT promote Affiliate Club Properties.

I have also started a thread on my forum concerning my roguing of Affiliate Club.

Affiliate Club Rogued

I spoke to Chris at length yesterday and I really do feel for the affiliate managers at Affiliate Club. Chris is a good guy and doesn't need to have to deal with this crap that the management have implemented.

I am NOT happy about this at all.

Over the last 6 month or somthing like that I have been building up a very decent playerbase at Casino Club. I won't personally have any problems at all sending 1 player a month at the moment - or in the forseable future for that matter. BUT that's not the issue.

The real issue is that it's a violation of the contract between the affiliate and the casino - it's supposed to be revenue share for the life of the player. Now all of a sudden it's not.

I concider it no less then an attempt to blackmail affiliates into promoting a casino no matter how they convert trafic and no matter how they treat players. That's not acceptable.

So here I am - with a nice playerbase. Damned if I do remove them - damned if I don't. I know I will have to remove them if these terms and conditions are not changed. I have done similar before and I will do so again.

It's going to hurt me financially for sure, if they force me into remove them. However I am sure it will hurt even more in the long run if we allow all casino affiliate programs to get away with stuff like this.

Best Casino Partners tried something like this recently - they changed it back because we stand strong as a united community.

I herby urge Affiliate Club to reconcider these new terms and conditions as fast as possible. I also suggest that my fellow affiliates contact the program and make them aware that we are not happy with these changes.

And that's not all!

This crops up at exactly the same time as various player complaints.

So if you try to protect your visitors by pulling the ads until player complaints cease, you will be punished by having comissions already earned confiscated.

This is a very very bad thing, beyond and above the quota, which is bad on it's own.

I was thinking about this since yesterday
and , we will remove banners from them.
I will do that over the weekend,
It must be, I cannot agree with this.

If we dont stand together, then every program will just start to do and change whatever they want.

Marina

Sorry to hear of your situation Jan.

At this point its a choice of ... do you want to lose little or lose big?

Every player you add to that base at this point ... is one you're taking away from a legitimate aff program who WILL pay you residuals long after you've sent your last player which is as it should be.

Aff Club you've some nerve.

5.2.5 If we continue to permit play

Get off your knees aff club. We all know you'll continue to allow them to play and continue to steal from your partners.

5.2.6 You shall stop receiving the Commission:If you or your representatives act in a way that diminishes and/or tarnishes the image and or reputation of AffiliateClub.com. If you are not an “Active Affiliate”, according to the definition herein.

I know somebody who woulda worked that term hard.

I would love to have some of what these idiots are smoking that makes them think its going to be widely welcomed when you announce you're choosing to cheat your partners via means of adding T&Cs .... and then turn around and add another T&C which basically states that if you even speak out against their sleazy effort that they will then steal your commissions and accounts and that they are the sole discretion of any matter.

well I'm off to make my blacklist.

can someone provide the entire length of casino names please?

I have blacklisted Casino Club, Slots Club, Affiliate Club, and the mother ship, Gaming VC.

I am using the Casino Club Rogue page to link out to similar pages. Please feel free to link back and post the URL of your rogue page so I can link to it.

As affiliates, we can't allow ourselves to be blackmailed like this. We CAN and SHOULD burn these businesses to the ground.

Cool, thanks.

Hopefully more webmasters will take action and post an article, or at least a link to the existing articles. It's important that we don't allow affiliate programs to get away with stealing our commissions.

I am on the way back from Amsterdam now.

During the conference I had the chance to speak to the person at Affiliate Club who is responsible for introducing these new terms and conditions. I did argue that introducing these new terms is a really bad business decition for Affiliate Club going forward. I know that many other affiliates has been telling them the same on email and during the conference.

They are reconcidering the terms at the moment and I think/hope that I (and others) were able to convince them that sticking to the new terms and conditions is a really bad idear.

Cheers
Jan

Absolutely.. And 'waiting for CAC' was NOT the right answer, IMO. They will realize it - I just hope not too late. They may well be in trouble by the time they realize they need affiliates to come back.

Even if they change the T&Cs back now, I'm done with them. Trust is a fragile thing in this industry, and they smashed it to bits with this T&C stunt. These a-holes still haven't sent an email to their affiliates informing them of the change.

Maybe someday I'll work with them again -- maybe. I eventually learned to trust Referback and Fortune Affiliates again after their retroactive T&C fiasco. It took me 2 years, but I did give them another chance. I'm glad I did, because Fortune turned out to be quite profitable. (Referback, not quite as profitable, but still decent.)

With Affiliate Club, though, it is more complicated because not only is there the T&C issue, but there's also a separate player issue involving an unpaid jackpot winner. I don't know if that has been resolved yet; I stopped following the threads over at Casinomeister.

Has anyone else blacklisted Affiliate Club besides AGD, Dom, Webzcas, and me? If you haven't done it yet, please write something up and get it online! I'll link to your article from mine.

Slightly different topic -- I think people need to stop "waiting until the next conference" to get things accomplished. Send an email, pick up the phone, or catch people on MSN or Skype. But geez, don't wait around for one or two months to get important things taken care of. Grand Prive comes to mind... everyone waited around like idiots for a meeting that GP had no intention of going to....

BTW, what is the Grand Prive owner's name? I know his first name is Danesh. What's his last name? I'd like to include his full name in my blacklist article. Other people should know who this thief is so that they can avoid working with him in the future. If you know his name, or if you happen to find it, please post it here.

I found a possible last name: Choudree. Source: xhttp://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/printthread.php?t=6254&pp=40

Can anyone confirm that this is the owner's last name?

Edit: The first name may actually be spelled Dinesh instead of Danesh....
