I think you wont get more than 1 month revenue, and it is still too much, in any possible moment you can get some lucky player and the accounts can go down the drain.

1. Why on earth do you want to sell something which is making you good money?

2. Are affiliates even ALLOWED to sell their accounts to someone else?

KK

Depends on the program. Some do, some don't, some will let you merge accounts. Some will even buy you out themselves.

Happens fairly frequently though and there are a bunch of reasons why someone might want to sell:

- need the money now
- having problems with getting paid for whatever reason (someone was on PAL selling an account recently for this reason)
- don't want to work with the program any more and want to wash their hands of it
- leaving the business/niche

and so on..

For the OP it's actually a good idea to sell the account if they're not promoting AL any more - especially since they've started binning affiliates who don't promote them.

What would be the price you think will be fair for the case above?

I would want to know how many players are contributing

Agreed - there's not enough info at the moment. Whether those figures come from 100 players who play every month, or one bigger player will make a massive difference to the price. Plus three months stats isn't enough to go by really.

The whole AL getting rid of affiliates thing will reduce the price though, especially if accounts can't be merged.

Yes, I would be very wary of purchasing an AL account. In fact, I would only do it for very little value. It's not worthwhile considering they will hold you hostage once you have the account. I would almost bet they would find a way to close your account within 2 months, knowing AL.

I just read a forum thread yesterday where someone had received an e-mail from Affiliate Lounge,
and they were closing his account because he hadn't referred any new players in 6 months time.

If you have any other affiliate accounts, you may find better opportunities with those. It looks
like Affiliate Lounge is gaining a reputation for closing affiliate accounts whenever they see fit.
