According to The BBC, Online gambling firm 888 said that it is buying Bwin.party Digital Entertainment in a cash and stock deal valued at £898m or $1.4 billion dollars.

Bwin.Party website is BwinParty.com and the company’s name was created long before all the new domain extensions started rolling out.

The offer is 104.09 pence per share which is at a 1.2 percent premium to Bwin.party’s close on Thursday and consists of 39.45 pence in cash and 0.404 new 888 shares for each Bwin.party share.

According to the BBC the deal comes less than six months after 888 rejected a takeover bid from William Hill, for about £750m.

I'm trying really hard to care - but I just don't.
Wouldn't touch either group as an affiliate - they don't value the affiliate relationship at all.

Why is that?

Have just signed a contract with them :/ ?!

You didn't "sign a contract" ... you accepted their terms and conditions ... and I bet you didn't read it through.

When you examine the terms, and understand that they can and DO terminate contracts frequently..
Then you will realise how these programs and T&Cs are not very valuable for affiliates.

Ok sorry, accepted Their terms ..

Thank you so much for the information!

I have seen that I got players but no CPA payment. Weird. Maybe i should stop promoting them?

You have already found one of the best places to collect casino affiliate related information and knowledge. Try the search function or ask before signing a contract with disreputable operators next time. :) It will save you lots of hassle in the long run.

Apparently this takeover still has not been confirmed. I don't care much about either of these companies but thought to mention this.

as other said from a affiliate perspective we couldnt care less as both are some of the worst in the industry.
And now it perfectly make sense that 888 have tried to change old contracts with life time rev share they have with some big affiliates earlier this year.

Life time revenue in gaming are just a joke and marketing stunt from the ***holes in the big companies..
