I just sent out an email with the same message:

Superior Share Affiliates.

On October 28, 2011, Superior Casino will be removing all 3D slot games from the casino suite because of licensing restrictions from the game provider (Rival outsourced these specialized games from another game provider).

We will be removing all marketing material with 3D games over the next 2 weeks and we ask you to check your sites to be sure to switch out any marketing materials that include 3D games.

We know this is an inconvenience and we apologize.

The good news is 3D game usage is a small percentage, so the effect will not be huge.

I have no news on whether we will be replacing these games with a new 3D provider in the future. In the meantime, all other games in the suite will be available permanently.

Thanks for being a great partner.

Inconvenience? You ain't fricking joking!!

Please can you give more detail on this "licensing restriction":-
Does this mean the 3D games will be removed from ALL Rival Casinos?
If so, which territory is the root cause of these restrictions?

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. For some reason I didn't get an email about the replies here. I must need to change something in my user profile.

I can only speak for Superior. But the wording by Rival suggests it is Rival-wide. And it's not territory related. These games were not developed by Rival. They were licensed to them and to us. The company licensing them pulled them for some reason. I have no further information about why. But even knowing why wouldn't make it suck any less. It sucks for us too.

Again, this was not a decision by Superior or Rival.

If you need help with new materials to replace them, let me know.

Thanks

RIVAL FAIL ONCE AGAIN!

Yea, the problem was the fact that Rival could no longer afford to pay Sheriff Gaming the licensing fees necessary to continue offering the 3D Games since revenue has been down now for a long time across all their white-label licensee's. Rival continues on the downward slide once again.

Can't wait to see what the next news is coming out of Rival.

Rival could have been great at one time but there's been way too much damage done to the brand name now for them to ever recover again, the best thing Rival could do at this stage is simply sell off the software to a management company that has proper backing funds and re-brand the software.

This will most likely be the next chapter in the Rival saga.

I don't know if what you posted is fact or speculation, but I do know that I agree 1000% with everything you said!

My bet is Rival didn't pay this provider, just like they haven't paid my commissions on 3 or 4 white label casinos for the last 5 - 6 months.

It seriously really pains me to say this, but I think we can count the remaining existence time of Rival Gaming in weeks, not months or years.
I'm going to start pulling most of their casinos off my sites next week.
I'm only going to keep the ones who I'm confident will pay players, pay me, and be contactable.
To say I am bitterly disappointed with Rival's recent self-destruction would be the understatement of the decade.

I hope we are in that list.
