Just got an email from 188 saying they plan on closing our account due to 'very little activity'. Stats for last quarter show an average of 4.5 FTD's a month. Not huge, but enough that I'd expect the bloody account to stay open.

Tbh we have only ever had them on an offers page of one site and never really given much exposure. Bloody glad we didn't now.

Anyway, just FYI that they're closing active accounts.

That's just bloody ridiculous!
With most operators I would be happy to get 4.5 FTD's a YEAR!

Glad I never worked with these jokers.

They could have looked at the site and gotten narked over the coverage, but then again they didn't say anything about that really. Just a template-esque email so maybe not....

Be curious to know if anyone else got one?

It looks bad I just never advertised them but I still do not understand these rules on every program with activity quota, whether maintaining an affiliate account costs them something ?

Sorry to hear about that BI.

The longer all-affiliates ALLOW programs to act like this, the more it will happen.

It's like banks... they state a similar line of horse$hit.

The weird thing (to me at least) was that we were still sending customers. So they obviously think that the money they'll make from screwing us out of the existing player base is more than the value of the new customers we would have brought if we kept working with them for the next xx years, just seems so short sighted.

The funny thing is I occasionally get emails from them through other sites asking for exposure...

4-5 FTD per month is pretty good for 188bet which has little to recommend it. How did you manage that?

Ha, fair point.

It's an offers site though, so the threshold for inclusion tends to be a bit lower.
