Lol. It's not. I guess I would have to know more about the report to know *how* or *if* it is false.

It *might* be because the report is adding the totals for each month together rather than uniques for the period the report is ran.

So for example
July - 7 Signs ups - 5 FTDs (first time depositors) - 5 Depositing customers
Aug - 7 Sign ups - 5 FTDs - 10 Depositing customers ( all 5 customers who deposited in July, also deposited in Aug))

So you run the total, you have 14 Sign ups, 10 FTDs and 15 Depositing customers. (this is an exaggerated example, just to show how it would happen over a 2 month period)

It *should* be unique for the period ran, however I've seen enough systems and reporting to know that this sometimes happens in certain systems.

You'll want to ask them for the FTD number or a unique depositing customer number.

Hope this sheds some light on *how* it could return those results :)

My apologies I should have given more info in my initial post. This program has two casinos that I have been promoting for about the same time.

For the period 01 July 15 to 29 Feb 16
Casino 1
Signups = 27 (! This figure is a bit low and obviously the cause of the problem.)
FTD's = 28
Signups to Depositors = 103.70%

Casino 2
Signups = 102
FTD's = 17
Signups to Depositors = 16.67%

I've contacted my aff manager and will probably receive a reply early next week.

You would think that if they did a cross promo with casino 2 joins to casino 1 joins the casino 1 signups would also increase.

Sign ups in june may not have made a deposit until July hence why the percentage is higher. i have had sign ups deposit 6 months later before, the best way to check is to do an all history report there you should see the numbers match..

Hi Frank - I get the previous month next month bit, so the 3.7% above 100% doesn't really bother me. What bothers me is the very high 'Signups to Depositors' percentage. 100% over a 7 month period is highly unlikely. But my am says it's correct, so who knows. :confused:

I had something similar around June.. someone had posted a free $10 bet link.. hundreds of extra sign ups but few deposits, perhaps its that? try scanning the link url see if it's made its way to some app or site

I don't serve banners from affiliate programs. Instead I serve them from my server.
So the CTR% are usually off the charts.

EG - this month the CTR is 78000.00%

My guess it's what frank put forward, that is a player signed a few months back but didn't deposit. Then made their first deposit @ Casino 1, thus throwing the FTD % into wacky mode ;)

Thanks for the feed back Frank, but did all or most of those hundreds of sign ups deposit as well?

I also mostly serve my own banners. But this won't effect what I'm referring to. I'm not concerned about my CTR, I'm concerned about my very high Signups to Depositors.

Those figures that I posted are the complete stats since day one of promoting this program which is over a 7 month period. So there are not any missing sign-ups from previous months.

Well it appears that everybody who signed up during that period deposited as well?

That's really an awesome conversion rate, in fact that's a conversion rate on steroids. Maybe I'm on steroids when it comes to website optimisation. :cool: But then it's strange my 'steroid magic' is not working as well on the other casino this program has or any other that I promote. ;)

Look at each of the 7 months individually and see what's up.

Done that already. :confused:

Casino 1 Signup to Dep
July 2015 - 100% (low base, understandable)
Aug 2015 - 57.14%
Sep 2015 - 50%
Oct 2015 - 60%
Dec 2015 - 200% (?)
Jan 2016 - 133% (?)
Feb 2016 - 300% (?)

Seems the conversions just get better and better. ;)

Between the two related casinos there is 35% lead to depositing player conversion rate, which is expected.

It looks like a cross promotion.

Maybe, but that would mean that every cross promoted referral who signs ups also deposits. Pretty remarkable.

I personally don't think it's cross promotion as I have accounts at both casinos and have not received any cross promo mail from either casino.
