Hello AGD community,

Today we present to you the new real revenue share audit report for Gambling Craft.

One of their brands is Play Fortuna Casino.

Affiliate Reporting Platform:
https://gamblingcraft.com/en
Affiliate Reporting Platform.jpg

We deposited €20 via Skrill and took a welcome bonus of 100% up to 500.
Cashier.jpg

The bonus is not shown in the total amount because:
“A bonus is additional funds that are not used in bets. To convert the bonus into real money, you need to make a certain amount of money bets. The bonus will be credited to your gaming account immediately after the completion of the wagering. You can view the bonus wagering on your profile page in the "Bonus History" section”

We started playing slots with the €20 since the bonus is not available for playing until it is wagered and then transferred to the account as real money.

The bonus funds were not wagered and we asked the customer support to take the bonus funds off.

With all funds lost, we checked the earnings report:
Stats.jpg

The affiliate platform is reporting in dollars ($).
Our deposit of €20 is equal to $23.53

We asked the affiliates why the deposit is shown 18,84 and this is the update received:
Players deposit
€20 = $23.53
Fees Deduction
-1,17$ Skrill commission (5%)
-3,52$ Royalty fee (15%)
The final amount = $18,84 in stats

After discussing the audit results with the affiliates, they advised that the column ‘Amount of deposits’ actually represents the NGR not the players deposit amount, and the ‘RS profit’ is the commission amount.
The player's deposit amount is not displayed in the report.

To summarize, the Effective Net Gaming Revenue (the amount of money deposited and lost) is 18.84/23.53= 80%

Finally, multiply the advertised revenue share rate with the Effective NGR to see your real revenue share rate, e.g:
  • 25% = 20.00 %
  • 30% = 24.00 %
  • 35% = 28.00 %
  • 40% = 32.00 %
  • 45% = 36.00 %

It's bad enough that the fees are so high and net revenue so low, but deducting fees from the deposits then misrepresenting the amount deposited in the reports is very dishonest.

Add another program to the list to avoid.

Hello AGD team and the community!

There are wrong calculations above. Let me show how it actually works.

Currently we have a 4-level RS tariff by default: 20% > 30% > 40% > 50%

But there is 45% flat RS for AGD account, due to special agreement some years ago.

So in the example above initial deposit was €20 via Skrill it is equal to $23,53 and the net deposit amount is $18,48 accordingly (with the fees included) thereby RS / FactAffProfit rate is 1:1 >>

45% = 45% , since 18,84$ x 45% = 8,48$

And for the deposit of $23.53 (NO fees included) >>

45% = 36% , since $23,53 x 36% = 8,48$

====
Hence it follows that the ratio between factual RS profit and the net deposits (no fees included) is:

RS% = fact%
20% = 16%
30% = 24%
40% = 32%
50% = 40%

How to check 50% RS tariff = 40% of net webmasters profit ?

Let's imagine that we have 1 player with a deposit amount of 100 USD, so 100$ - 20$ (20% fees) = 80$ transferred to an affiliate stats and 80$ x 50% = 40$. Eventually 100$ relates to 40$ as 40% accordingly.

I can declare we have one of the best offers for online gambling!

And here are some advantages I especially want to highlight:

1) In our AP there are no: admin fee, bonus fee, retention fee.
2) No negative carryover.
3) 50% RS fixed during first 3 periods for each new partner.
4) We deduct royalty fee from the amount of players withdrawal, so the affiliate gets less negative income in case when the player do any withdrawals. The formula is >>
WebmasterProfit = ((In - CashierInFee - RoyaltyFee) - (Out + CashierOutFee - RoyaltyFee)) * RevenuePercent

Hope all is clear now.
Best regards, GC team

Ah I see. The audit has confused commission with net revenue. So not so bad.

I still think it is dishonest of you to hide the fact that you are deducting fees from the deposits.

The player's deposit amount is not displayed in the report.
The first calculation showing 36% was not correct and is removed from the initial post:
Effective Net Gaming Revenue (the amount of money deposited and lost) is 8.48/23.53= 36%.

Finally, multiply the advertised revenue share rate with the Effective NGR to see your real revenue share rate, e.g:
  • 25% = 09.00 %
  • 30% = 10.80 %
  • 35% = 12.60 %
  • 40% = 14.40 %
  • 45% = 16.20 %
The initial audit report post is updated to show the correct calculation and result 80%.

Thanks for the update ;)

I wouldn't be proud of ... it seems a sport in the industry to show a nice RS to catch the affiliates and if it's NOT the real amount to earn but 80%, doesn't matter, that fine too because the other doing the same.

It would be such an easy task to explain upfront what my share is instead of looking for excuses afterward. Just show the real deal.

Hello @eenzoo!

Thanks for your opinion, but our affiliate platform work this way, hope it is not critical for most of webmasters.
If someone have any questions about their stats there are always personal aff manager to explain/provide any actual info needed.

Means, you advertise with wrong numbers with hope that webmasters don't care about because its a widely common modus operandi?

Yes we use this widely common method, but there was no any issues before.
We honestly pay our affiliates pretty high commissions and most of them who work with focused GEOs are satisfied.
