KSA provided details for the self-exclusion scheme (Centraal Register Uitsluiting Kansspelen - Cruks) for the land-based operators before it becomes mandatory. The test version will be available on the 13th of July.
Land-based operators will be obligated to check if the player is registered with Crucks.
Players can register by themselves, the operator or family member can do it on their behalf.
Under the new Remote Gambling Act, online operators will also be required to integrate Cruks. The act was supposed to go live in January 2021, but it is postponed for July 2021.
