Casino.com adds a clause to control incentives and the promotion of incentives by affiliates. The term appears quite predatory when read and appears to give them the ability to take affiliate commissions. Additionally the terms have changed the words ‘casino.com’ to ‘Company’ and the email address for support to affiliates@mansion.com.

NEW TERMS, Commissions, Incentive Promotion

5. Affiliate Earnings & Payments

5.12 If you wish to offer any incentives to potential players, you are required by us to receive prior written approval before commencing any such activity. In the event that you do not receive such approval but offer such incentives, we reserve the right to cancel your participation in the program, and refuse payment of any previously earned, but unpaid, commissions.

UPDATED TERMS, company, company informational change

and cheque are is $10,

General enquiries should be sent to affiliates@casino.com affiliates@mansion.com. If you have any questions regarding these terms and conditions please contact us at the same email address. 1. Definitions and Interpretation 1.1 ”Casino.com” ‘COMPANY”, ”we”, ”our”, ”us” mean Onisac Limited the company within the Mansion Group of companies with which you have elected to become an affiliate of.

Summary:This term appears to be quite predatory. While it is understood that affiliates should not offer incentives without prior approval, to terminate their contract and steal their commissions is a bit ‘overboard’. I think there are many simple alternatives which would be much more effective

Casino.com have changed a couple of terms in regards to affiliate commissions.  They are simple changes, outlined below, and not predatory, retroactive, changes:

TERM REMOVED

5.1 The affiliate earnings payable to you by Casino.com shall be calculated in the manner specified at http://faq.casino.com.

Summary: Affiliate earnings calculations are inside the terms and conditions, so the clause was removed in order to remove the URL which no longer pertains.

ORIGINAL TERM

5.2 The affiliate launch offer of $40 USD bounty per first depositor is subject to referred players with a minimum turnover of $40 USD and a minimum deposit of $40 USD. The 40% commission is in addition to the bounty awarded. This offer will only be available during the launch period. After this period has ended it will revert to a standard tiered affiliate programme to be specified at the time of change.

NEW TERM

5.2 You must specify whether you want your affiliate account to be Cost Per Acquisition or Lifetime Net Revenue Share. You may only select one per affiliate account, meaning you will be subject to the same conditions for all referred players linked to this account.

Summary: The reason for this change was the fact that the original promotional bounty is no longer offered.  The terms and conditions now more closely follow their true architecture.
