Title:Casino Coins adds ‘Active Affiliate’ RuleDate:September 1, 2010 3:13 pm
Category:Casino CoinsTags:,

Casino Coins adds a new term to their Affiliate Contract which requires their affiliates to be ‘active’ to reach the *recently added* top revenue sharing tiers.

TERMS ADDITION – ACTIVE AFFILIATE RULE

on Player Net Revenue in the month up to and including $15,000 >> 25% on Player Net Revenue in the month over $15,000 – $30,000 >> 30%
on Player Net Revenue in the month over $30,001+ 30,000 – $ 50,000 >> 35%
on Player Net Revenue in the month over $ 50,000 – $ 100,000 >> 40% *
on Player Net Revenue in the month over $ 100,000+ >> 45% *

* In order to be eligible for the top 2 tiers , an affiliate must be active . ( An active affiliate is defined as an affiliate who has sent at least 10 new players in a given month) .

Summary: While it is very nice to have additional tiers in the commission model, constraining that by ‘activity’ is a poor way to keep *large* partners, in my opinion.

Title:Casino Coin Fixes High Roller PolicyDate:July 16, 2009 12:17 pm
Category:Casino CoinsTags:,

Casino Coins have made changes to their high roller policy to ensure that the 1st month’s income will NOT be wiped out by the high roller carryover. It was an oversight in the original writeup and is now fixed.

TERMS UPDATE, Negative Carryover, High Roller Policy

7.5 In the event that an Affiliate has a player that has won more than $25,000 (a “Big Winner“) in a single month which causes the Affiliates overall earnings to be negative, Casino Coins reserves the right to contact the Affiliate to provide them two options. The formula that Casino Coins will use to determine if a player has won more than $25,000 is Total Bets less Total Payouts less Bonuses from the first of the month until 11:59pm on the last day of the month. The following points outline the two options:

  1. Permanently remove the Big Winner from the Affiliates channel allowing the Affiliate to earn from the remaining player base.
  2. Keep the Big Winner in the channel with the understanding that the negative Net Win from the previous month must be recouped, before the Affiliate can begin earning from that Big Winner again. It’s important to note that this is not a negative carry over adjustment because Affiliates will continue to earn the revenue from all players including the Big Winner.
    1. The negative Net Win from Month 1 is only paid back to the House by the Big Winner and all subsequent positive Net Win from the rest of the Affiliates player base will not be touched.

TERMS UPDATE, Negative Carryover, High Roller Policy

7.5 In the event that an Affiliate has a player that has won more than $25,000 (a “Big Winner“) in a single month which causes the Affiliates overall earnings to be negative, Casino Coins reserves the right to contact the Affiliate and temporarily remove the Big Winner from the Affiliates Channel (herein known as ‘fencing’). The formula that Casino Coins will use to determine if a player has won more than $25,000 is Total Bets less Total Payouts less Bonuses from the first of the month until 11:59pm on the last day of the month. The following outlines the fencing process:

  1. In the event that a player wins over $25,000 causing the referring Affiliates earnings to be negative at months end, that player will be temporarily removed or fenced from under the Affiliate, until which time the Big Winner has lost back their winnings.
  2. Earnings from the current month will be retained by the Affiliate, as the Big Winner will be fenced in the month in which the win occurred.
  3. Once the negative net win from the Big Winner is recouped, they will be returned to the Affiliate to earn off future positive net win.

Summary:The high roller policy will now show that earnings are not wiped out the first month from all other players the affiliate has in their account.

Casino Coins have added a new term to their T&C’s which involves the increasingly popular ‘High Roller Policy’.

Summary:This high roller policy IS retroactive to your player base if you are a current Casino Coins affiliate. The term, as is, will not allow you to earn money for a player winning over $25,000 until the casino has earned money from that player. This term will reduce your income based upon comparison to Casino Coin’s previous NO negative carryover policy. The amount of income you will lose will be equivalent to the amount of money the player has won multiplied by your commission percentage. For example: If the player won exactly $25,000 and your commission rate is 30%: $25,000 * 30% = $7500.

**This term also allows you to continue to earn money in the first month from all of your players instead of wiping out that income stream. This means the player is truly fenced instead and will not destroy your income on any given month.
