Summary: This is a new change by Party Partners, but let’s not forget that they have the same inactivity clause as AffClub (AffClub is a PartyPartners site)

Title:Party Partners Sign Up Codes and CDsDate:December 7, 2009 9:27 am

Party Partners have removed the term relating to Sign Up Bonus codes and distributable CD’s.

TERMS UPDATE, BONUSES CODES, DISTRIBUTED CD’S

2.22 A ”Sign-up Bonus Code” is a unique alphanumeric code that we may make available to you to provide to prospective Players. When entered, the system automatically logs the Sign-up Bonus Codes and records you as the Affiliate in relation to the relevant Player. Further , Sign-up Bonus Codes may automatically be entered/logged by our system with some CDs that we may provide to you and that may be used for installation of our software by any prospective Player .

Summary: We can only assume that Party Partners no longer distributes CDs with bonus codes embedded. Hopefully that is a help to affiliates and will not allow CD’s to steal previously referred players.

Title:Party Partners Changes TermsDate:September 22, 2009 4:16 am

Party Partners removes a term which excludes direct employees from entering into their affiliate marketing program.

TERMS UPDATE, Registration, Affiliate Accounts

3.10 No Group Employees. If you are an officer, director, employee, consultant or agent of the Group or one of its subsidiary parent or associated companies, or suppliers or vendors, you are not permitted to participate in the Affiliate Network or to use directly or indirectly any of the Sites, other than in the course of your employment as a Group employee. Similarly, ´relative´ of Group employees are not permitted to participate in the Affiliate Network or to use directly or indirectly any of the Sites. For these purposes, the term relative shall include (but not be limited to) any of a spouse, partner, parent, child or sibling.

Summary:Surprising that this term is removed. It does not truly affect current affiliates, most likely, unless you were an affiliate (and employee, in some regards of Party Gaming) flying under the radar.

Title:Party Partners Negative Carryover UpdateDate:May 19, 2009 1:32 am

Party Partners Updates the Negative Carryover clause… but why? This is the same alert as Affclub, of course, but for Party.

UPDATED TERMS, Commissions, Negative Carryover

4.4 Minimum Payment and Time of Payment. All Affiliate Accruals generated through your chosen Payment Plan will be paid into your Affiliate Cashier Account within fifteen (15) days of the close of each calendar month. We may impose reasonable restrictions on the frequency and amounts that can be cashed out of your Affiliate Cashier Account for administrative convenience and/or to protect the security of your account. Further At our sole discretion, we may in impose a policy that if the amount due is negative in any particular month, then that negative amount will carry over and be deducted against the following month.

Summary:(Same as Affclub Alert): It is difficult to tell from the new language if there is ‘no negative carryover’ except in special situations…. or if it is just stricter language.
