Betsafe Affiliates have changed a portion of their terms and conditions which relates to the company name, location, and jurisdiction.  See below for full details:

TERM SECTION UPDATED

An Agreement entered into between Group Betsafe SABS Management NV, a A company incorporated in Costa Rica and licensed by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority hereinafter Curacao, Netherland Antilles with its registered address Emancipatie Boulevard 29, New Haven Office Center, Curacao, Netherlands Antilles hereafter referred to as ‘‘the Company’‘ “the Company”. And the Affiliate hereinafter referred to as ”the Affiliate” This Agreement shall enter into effect on the date the online Affiliate Registration Form is approved by the Company.

Summary: Betsafe has a name change, it’s location has changed from Costa Rica to Curaco, and is now licensed in the Netherland Antilles as well.

Betsafe Affiliate program has now changed their predatory term which stated that you must have 5 active customers to be paid. This is now in the termination clause and only applies to fraud.

6.14 Your Betsafe affiliate account must have a minimum of 5 active referred Customers before you will be eligible for Referral Commission payment. Please note that the sole purpose of this rule is to protect us against arbitrage players taking advantage of our program. Honest affiliates that indeed owns a website and affiliates that gets all or part of their commission from Casino/Poker revenue, should not consider this rule as part of the TCregard.

7. Termination

7.1 This Agreement may be terminated by either party by giving a thirty (30) day written notification to the other party. Written notification may be given by an email.

7.2 We reserve the right to protect us against sportsbetting players taking advantage of our program. These players, often referred to as “arbitrage” players, uses the affiliate program to their advantage by referring them self in order to get 30% commission from their own losses in the sportsbook. If we find evidence of such conduct, the agreement will be terminated with immediate effect.

SUMMARY: This term is now perfectly described and considered affiliate-friendly. This will allow BetSafe to get rid of ‘advantage affiliates’ who look only to create scenarios whereby they can defraud the program for money. It does NOT apply to affiliates who honestly promote the organization.

Betsafe Affiliate program makes an attempt at appeasing affiliates by amending their predatory term which forced affiliates to send 5 players each month in order to receive a paycheck.

SUMMARY: This term is now a lot more vague and it is nearly impossible to make a definitive determination that it is now NOT predatory.  As such, until the term is properly amended, we must state that the program has predatory Terms and Conditions.

SUMMARY: This is a predatory term as all ‘minimum player rules’ are active only to allow affiliate programs to stop paying affiliates. If you are currently promoting Betsafe, we suggest you remove them from your sites before they steal more of your hard-earned commissions.
