CWC Affiliates has a brand new website which was set online today. Along with that change was a change to their terms and conditions. Most changes were just different wording.

Change #1 – Category: Agreement

Change #1 – Category: Tracker Definition

OLD Term
2.3 ”Tracker(s)” means the unique tracking URL that we provide exclusively to you, during the term of this Agreement, through which we track your efforts and calculate your Marketing Fees.

NEW Term
2.2 ”Tracker(s)” – The unique URL provided exclusively to an Affiliate to identify their site as the referring party of any Player. During the terms of this Agreement, this Tracker is used to calculate customer progress and Affiliate earnings 2.3 ”Player(s)” means a person that enters the Site and opens a NEW REAL MONEY account via your Tracker(s).

OUR SUMMARY: Complete re-write that states the same thing.

2.5 ”Purchase(s)” means funds transferred by Players to their Site account. 2.6 ”Redeem(s)” means any and all funds withdrawn or cashed-out by Players from their Site account plus any Purchases reversed (or credits given) by us, in our sole discretion, to negate fraud, error, Player non satisfaction or through charge backs.

OUR SUMMARY: Rewritten for clarification purposes that this is real money. Also includes more information about charge-backs and coupons.

Change #1 – Category: Net Revenue Definition

OLD Term
2.7 ”Net Revenue” will mean the sum of Deposits less Withdrawals less Chargebacks and/or Credits generated on your Tracker(s) based solely on our log files.

NEW Term
2.7 ”Net Revenue” - The Net Casino Profits that each Affiliate’s commission percentage is based on. Net Revenue is calculated as: Total purchases minus withdrawals minus player cash balances minus any charge-backs or credits. See basic diagram here. This information is based solely on the calculations generated by the unique Tracker provided to each Affiliate.

OUR SUMMARY: Net Revenue is a lot more clear with this term changed. Very detailed.

Change #1 – Category: Marketing Fees Definition

OLD Term
2.8 ”Marketing Fees” is the percentage of Net Revenue due and payable to you, at the end of each calendar month based solely on our system’s data.

NEW Term
2.8 ”Marketing Fees” - The amount payable to the Affiliate at the end of each calendar month. To receive marketing fees for any calendar month, the Affiliate must meet the minimum payout amount required of $150. The payable amount is based solely on the information in our system, which is collected using the unique Tracking URL for each Affiliate. Any earnings below this threshold will be rolled over to the following month.

OUR SUMMARY: The minimum payment is an addition to this definition even though it is clearly defined elsewhere. Besides that, the term is just clarified.

Change #1 – Category: SPAM Definition

OLD Term
2.9 ”Spam” means emails and messages that are sent by you, directly or indirectly, which: 1), contain false or misleading statements ; 2), do not truthfully identify the source or the originating IP Address; or 3), do not contain an online and real time Remove option.

NEW Term
2.9 ”Spam” - We do not condone any Affiliate using spam to gain traffic. This includes emails and messages that are sent by you, directly or indirectly, which: a) Is sent without the recipient’s prior consent b) Contains false or misleading statements ; c) Does not truthfully identify the source or the originating IP Address; or d) Does not contain an online and real time Remove option.

OUR SUMMARY: More clear and stronger spam guidelines are always a good thing.

Change #1 – Category: Payment Schedule

OLD Term
4.4 Time for Payment. We pay all Marketing Fees within ten (10) days of the close of each calendar month, by check or wire transfer, as you prefer. If you prefer wire, there is a $35.00 wire fee, per wire, which will be deducted from your payments. We may in our sole discretion require that payments in excess of $1,000.00 be wired to your account. ALL MARKETING FEES DUE AND PAYABLE HEREUNDER WILL BE PAID IN UNITED STATES DOLLARS ONLY.
4.5 Payment Minimums. You will only be sent a check, neteller transfer or wire if the amount due is more than $200.00.

4.5 Payment Minimums. Your payment will be sent to you via your selected payment from the available payment methods available if the amount due is more than $150.00.

OUR SUMMARY: The minimum payment is lowered to $150! Very nice. The reason for the change appears to be that they prefer to update their web page instead of the terms and conditions about payment options. This makes complete sense.

Change #1 – Category: Monthly Payment Statement

4.6 Monthly Statement. A monthly statement of how your Marketing Fees were calculated will be sent to you along with your payment. You will have thirty (30) days from receipt of each statement to dispute that statement , which dispute must be submitted to jason@cwcaffiliates.com in writing with details as to the reason for dispute. Deposit of the amount tendered will be deemed full and final acceptance thereof.

NEW Term
4.6 Monthly Statement. Since most Affiliates track their progress, monthly statements are not generally provided. However, in the event that there may be a dispute, some confusion, or a need for clarification; we will at our sole discretion provide a monthly statement. Request for such a statement must be initiated by the Affiliate. The Affiliate can send request to: nicole@cwcaffiliates.com.

OUR SUMMARY: This statement allows the affiliate a monthly statement upon request, but CWC does not have to provide it based upon the new term. Nicole’s email address is spread throughout the terms in replacement of Jason’s (Harvey’s)
