888.com has changed the terms and conditions relating to poker player comp points and how those comp points define a ‘New Active Player’ for the purpose of stats reporting and earnings.

NEW TERM, New Active Player – Comp Points

A Money Player is a Lead who has achieved the following criteria: (i) earns 20 comp points in relation to the Casino Site; or (ii) earns 6 20 comp points in relation to the Poker Site; or (iii) plays on the Backgammon Site, the Bingo Site or the Sports Betting Site. For the foregoing purpose, the term comp point shall have such definition and shall be earned by Leads in accordance with the guidelines as shall be set from time to time by Cassava.

Summary:This is just an attempt to make ‘Real Players’ a bit more difficult to come by for Poker affiliates. It now requires 20 comp points instead of 6 comp points to define a ‘New Real Player’.
