World Bingo Network...Gone

Just got an email from World Bingo Network (USABingo and Desperate Housewives Bingo) saying that they've gone out of business.

Personally, I stopped promoting them when the no negative carryover disappeared from their affiliate site. And there have also been rumours for months about their cashflow.

I suspect that they may be using the current issues to disguise the fact they've been in trouble for a while and to pull out of the market.

The email is as follows:

"Dear Affiliate,

Unfortunately, due to many circumstances totally beyond our control, World Bingo Network will close its doors, effective May 27, 2011.

This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but we have no choice.

Obviously this will affect all WBN affiliate sites and affiliates. We will do our best to settle all accounts if and when possible.

Thank you for you past support. We wish you all the best of luck for the future.

Julie Burton & WBN Management Team"

IF AND WHEN ?? It had taken me over a year to reach a min payment threshold for a wire and now it seems I'll never see a dime.

Yeah, sorry mate, I would suggest you aren't going to see that money. As I said, my suspicion is that they are using the current poker/sportsbooks/processing issues to cover up the fact they've had problems for months. This has just - if the rumors are true - allowed them to get out without too much focus pointed at their own business as opposed to DOJ seizures/online gambling industry panic.
