    History repeating itself...

The last time something like this happen with VA was the affiliate program update. That took over 12 months to rectify; which never really got fixed anyway.

I wont rehash that debacle here, if you have private access to the GPWA you can it there.

All except telling those that don't have access, it was like being a cattle sale, BS was everywhere

I yanked them back then. Personally if a program has to use porky pies, it's not the sort of place I want to do business with. It makes me not trust them...Because who knows what their doing that I can't see!

    Cheers

    Default US player Import

    Hi Affiliates,

We are very pleased to let you all know that all US player Stats will be resolved by tomorrow evening. While we are in the process of migrating the players to their old Player ID’s your stats will display 0 for July.

When US players were converted over to the new .net sites they also received new IDs. The reason we have taken some time over this is because we needed to decide if we were going to implement two new merchants for the .net casinos, or if we were to import data into the existing ones. We decided the latter and have been mapping the US players to their old Affiliate Player ID's, meaning they will all appear under their IDs in your stats.

We apologise for the time this has taken, but we can also assure you that it has been for the benefit of affiliates and to make sure everything runs smoothly from now on and all data is completely accurate.
Thank you all for your patience.

    Kind regards,

    Vegas Affiliates

    Default Update

    Hi again,

There has been an unforeseeable technical error in the live data feed, which means there will be a delay of up to 48 hours in the visibility of US player traffic in your accounts.

We sincerely apologise for this delay. We can assure you that we are working overtime to get this problem resolved ASAP.

    Thanks for your patience,

    Default US Stats

    Dear Affiliate,

We regret to inform you that the figures for the US traffic do not look too positive at this time.

As we advised by mail, we have put a team in place to make sure the migration is sweetened by nice promotional offers for the US players. But as it stands we did not manage to convince all of the players to activate their account on the new platform. This is very regrettable.

We, like any other operator had expected to lose some players by the migration which we had to perform, although the extent of loss is rather larger than expected. We are, however, continuing to send out reactivation campaigns to increase the player base again and expect to see a steady increase.

    Kindest regards,

Don't recall many times where a program sent out an email warning affiliates that their commissions are going to be down.

How does VA handle these "Sweet promo offers" do you deduct them from affiliates at the time you send them or the time they are actually accepted/used by the player?

I hope these players are also being tracked to the original affiliate
I don't see how that would be possible if there isn't any sort of code in the cds sent out to identify the connection.

It wouldn't make sense to just say that since we have them mapped to you with casino A that if they join the cd offer, that you will get credit for when they play at that casino, ... casino C, because what about if the player is mapped to someone else via casino B,

doesn't that figure correctly? So how otherwise would they possibly attach ownership?
COMING SOON! How would you like to be able to get not just one sign up from your player, or even a couple, but every single casino they join from here on? Stay tuned. - Update: should also have a stats for you telling how often the player is active in that casino.

    Hi Affiliates,

In response to arkyt question regarding the promo deductions, deductions are only made for used bonuses.

bb1webs, players are mapped to the original affiliate. The player keeps his old log in details, therefore the affiliate tag information is reported accordingly.

    Kind regards,
    Vegas Affiliate Team
