Post What to start a no deposit casino site.

    Hello All,

I would like to start my own no deposit casino site but im just wondering what would be the best way to go about it.

I was thinking about building the site in html/css. There are other options thou, I could build a blog or forum.

WordPress are pretty decent and I also like the vBulletin forums.

If you could give me some of your experiences with all there of the following methods it would be a great help for me when deciding which method to use.

    Thank You.

Wordpress is the best option, IMO. It is easy to use and VERY customizable.

Forums are very difficult to get 'off the ground'. You will find it very difficult to get members and keep them posting. It takes years to get a good forum going and most (probably 95% or higher) simply never make it and end up being places spammers drop their links due to lack of upkeep.

Yea I was thinking that as well.

Is there an option in wordpress where I can make pages for reviews instead of making them posts as stuff like that would only be for ongoing news and promotions ect.

    Hi onlinegamblingwriter,

I agree with Andy, Wordpress is the way to go. you can create pages and posts it's up to you. there is also a forum plug-in that I use that's pretty good. but, again it's alot of work to keep things fresh, and it can be like pulling teeth to get pp to post.

word press is free and most of there plug-ins are too.Good luck, and come visit AGD often. there are a lot of great members here, that will be more than happy to answer any questions you have.

Yes just start a new "page" rather than "post". Wordpress is probably the best way to go if you're just starting out - it's incredibly easy and there are plenty of templates out there that you can use. Personally I tend to stick to joomla as it much more flexible, but its a little bit more complicated than wordpress.

As for your sites theme, why no deposit bonuses? Don't get me wrong I think no deposit bonuses are a good way to round out your portfolio, but for a first site I fear you may be dissapointed/frustrated with the results, especially when you see 20 registrations and only one depositor.

There are really a ton of 'Review' plugins, but you have to search them under the right context at wordpress.org. Here is a list of them:

WordPress › Search for ratings « WordPress Plugins

I use GD Rating: WordPress › GD Star Rating « WordPress Plugins

It actually depends on how complex your site is going to be. If it is simple with some reviews then use Wordpress otherwise I would recommend Joomla.
Go and play at top online casinos. We have great reviews, huge bonuses and fantastic promotions.

No deposit sites are becoming more and more popular. I think players (especially US players) are really into being able to try out a casino and see what the games are like before making a deposit. Really a strong welcome bonus coupled with a free chip accomplishes two important things. First the free cash allows them to see the games and also have a chance to win some free money. Hopefully after they burn through that free chip they're excited about trying their luck at some of the games they tried for free. Having a message in the inbox letting them know that that $100 deposit is worth $400+ to them is conversion gold for new players.

Wordpress is a great platform and the SEO plugins make it a dream for affiliates. However, just to throw something else out there to think about - blogs also work well for this. If you can code up a design that lists your top offers on the right or left columns and then make daily posts about the Free Cash promos you're giving away then you can really create a 'bookmark me' type site. Just ask you managers for a small free chip and blog about it with screenshots and banners. Also a 'call to action' like "limited time offer" or "available this week" will boost your click through rates and give people a reason to act now!

Hope this helps, lots of good advice here on AGD!

I think this is primarily true for traffic that hasn't come in through a "free" keyword. Eg: If they're looking for "new casinos" or "microgaming casinos" they may pick up NDB to try it out before depositing, but the conversion rate plummets when you're talking about players who are specifically looking for "no deposit casinos bonuses".
