    Question What does this mean?

    Dear Affiliate,

Effective today, August 1st, there will be a change in how your commission is calculated. We have decided to change the calculation to fit with the industry norm.

We will now calculate commission based on the Adjusted Net Win model, which is: Deposits-Withdrawals-Chargebacks.

Please Note: These changes will take effect August 1st but they will not reflect in your stats until August 6th.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your Affiliate Manager.

    Kind Regards,
    Pantasia/Mayan Fortune
    Affiliate Branch

    -------------

What does this mean? Does this represent some change in the t&cs of the affiliate program, and if so, which ones? Does it mean that Pantasia now carries forward negatives, or did Pantasia not deduct for chargebacks before now? What constitutes the industry norm?

I find this communication to be a bit vague.

    Please clarify!

I'll let James make an official response to the calculation, but this affects nothing in the terms and conditions except the calculation itself.

Here is the original term from September 03, 2007 (Term hasn't changed):

The calculation, as defined in the original terms and conditions is:

    Commissions = Player Bets - Player Winnings - Credits/Bonus/Promotional Amounts - Chargebacks

This is the same commissions model they have recently emailed to you. I can only assume (without looking at the backend calculation) that they must have forgotten about chargebacks as you suggest.

James - can you please comment on this?

    Hi Everyone,

Please let me clarify the term change.

Previously, commission was calculated as stated in the terms posted by Guard Dog. Basically, it was based on the Net wagers of a player. There were many problems for us with this model so that is why the terms have changed.

Now, the terms fit with almost every other affiliate program out there: Deposits-Withdrawals-Chargebacks. This is true for all the casinos run by Bonne Chance. There is no Negative carry over, every month is a fresh start.

Hopefully I have clarified this for you. Please contact me if you have any questions.

    Cheers,
    James
