Angry Very disappointed with Affiliate Hub and AGD

I would like to write a short note about how mislead I feel by AGD who made me sign up with this program (made me believe that they are affiliate friendly program).

    1) They don't have statics - or if this info they put on their site (number of sign-ups and commission) can be called statistics it is for sure the worst I ever seen on such site.

    2) They process payments ONLY by check.. I mean how it is even possible in 2010 an affiliate program to be able to pay only with checks? This is ridiculous. They explained to me in the beginning of the year that they are in process of implementing wire transfers but.. one year is gone and still nothing maybe after a decade they will manage..

    3) No communication with affiliates at all. I wrote to them a few times with every possible e-mail or site ticket form I found and still 2 month gone no kind of response whatsoever. I mean, maybe their affiliate managers are too busy writing checks manually to reply to my enquiries.

And in the end, I was supposed to get paid in November but I don't really know if they sent a check or not (is this a mail or affiliate problem) and paying only in check has this advantage - they can always say we sent you but you postman lost it and there is no way to prove otherwise.

They aren't that communicative since Jo left and the cheque thing is a pita, but I do find that players stick and as a player there they are very good with fast cashouts and the range of slots is brilliant.

So bottom line is they are trustworthy, good at retention and even if they are not that affiliate-friendly, you do still get paid and what they do with players more than makes up for it.

I dropped SkyBet ages ago for exactly the reasons Trifonoff mentions. The affiliate backend is a shambles - far from professional, no communication, slow payments. They are part of one of the world's largest media companies and if they can't even spend £3K or so to get a working affiliate system, then that just shows how low a priority affiliates are for them. Best avoided.

Sorry you feel disappointed in AGD, Trifonoff

We try our very best to make sure the contract is suitable for affiliates and does not have any clauses within that can serve to destroy/steal/deduct from affiliate commissions.

During our investigation, we also ensure that communication is good. But that doesn't always remain the same throughout and we have no real way to auto-determine this change.

I apologize that you feel AH has taken advantage of you. Feel free to send me a PM if I can help in any way.

To be fair to AGD, there's nothing in their terms and conditions to suggest they are anything other than honourable and you don't hear 'no pay' complaints on forums. However, their whole approach to affiliates and the complete lack of stats in the 'backend' makes me agree with Trifonoff 100% in terms of the substance of his complaint.

I do not see how AGD could be blamed for this and this is truly about affiliate hub

AGD nor a bible could be a 100% reliable source it is good for information and disccussion.

YOU have to do your own research before promoting.

My advice is to stay with the big reliable brands as I have burnt some bridges.

    I agree.
Their affiliate system IS very poor, but at least I have been seeing regular (if small) income from them nearly every month - which is hell of a lot more than I see from dozens of other places I promote.

Default Huge improvements coming very soon

    Hi folks,

Pete from Sky Betting & Gaming here. Firstly, I'd like to apologise for the head aches that you've clearly experienced from our current Affiliate Hub software. We totally appreciate that it does not offer you the kind of functionality you should expect from us. In this thread, Trifonoff has highlighted our two major frustrations with it: no BACS payments and limited statistics / reporting.
The good news is that we are very close to rectifying this situation by relaunching our site with a highly-respected name in affiliates software. It will offer you massively improved payment and reporting functionality and, importantly, it is just around the corner.
In terms of communication with our affiliate managers - again, I can only apologise if your experience hasn't met expectations. We have recently made a number of changes in this department too, and I now feel confident to say that all enquiries are dealt with swiftly and efficiently. Trifonoff - if you have any specific questions, please get in touch and I will personally ensure that the right people respond immediately.
Thank you for your patience - watch this space for more details on our new system - coming soon...
    Pete

To be fair I have add an up-date that I have been contacted by AH representative and they resolved my issue in excellent timely matter.. I hope we will continue to have such productive communication in future..

PS. We (or at least I) expect from AGD to be able to put some pressure (which they actually did) on the programs they advertise.. Thank you, AGD!
