Vegas Affiliates remove Rogue Terms

Hey All,

This has been a long time coming and we have worked with Monica for some time discussing why the terms need to be reverted.

As such, a newsletter went out today from Vegas Affiliates stating that they:

1. Will no longer bundle casinos!

2. Will no longer have a 'Minimum Activity Rule'!


At the moment I cannot change their status here at AGD due to a machine crashage However, as soon as that is resolved, VA will be placed back into the certified section with a warning (and a retroactive change warning icon as well).

This is a great step in the right direction for a program that (for a very long time) did not see the light. Thanks very much to Monica who worked her tail off to get this implemented.

My name is Monica and I am Heading up the Marketing & Acquisition division at Minivegas, while lending my services to the affiliates department  along with Daniela which some of you may already know.
Thank you so much for your words of encouragement and believe me you were all taken into account throughout this process. Not all is where I want it to be, but I believe we have taken a great step in the right direction and I hope everyone helps us in making the right moves.

great news!

In the email you said that people who signed up prior to 1st June 2009 will not be affected by bundling. Does this mean that we will get reimbursed for the months after that where you did implement the rule?

It really gives us the strenght to keep mooving the right direction.

Hi there Kevin, regarding your question, we are doing everything possible to help affiliates recover for lost time, we are looking at this case by case because there are so many different situations. Some affiliates for example chose to promote only one casino. In the light of this we are helping affiliates recoup the values not earned during that period, either by increasing their rev share during a period of time among many other things. Not everyone lost during that period, in fact we helped several affiliates earn more, since we never fully agreed to the policy ourselves, this was imposed before I came in, and I have been with Minivegas for over a year now, so it was a looooooooooooong battle :P
So we encourage affiliates to speak to us so we can work toguether in establishing that first step and finding a solution. To equate how much was lost if any during that period and work toguether in acquiring a solution.

I think I left my contacts around somewhere and Daniela is always nearby to help also
