Upcoming Public Holidays

Hi all

Just a heads up that Australia has 3 public holidays coming up.

Friday 22nd April - Good Friday
Monday 25th April - Easter Sunday Holiday
Tuesday 26th April - Anzac Day Holiday

This means that the team at Rewards Affiliates will be out of the office on Friday 22nd and returning the following Wednesday.

If there is anything urgent during this time, please don't hesitate to email us on our personal emails (Renee, Helene and Yaniv all have blackberries). Anything sent to the support email address or to Isabell's personal email will be answered on our return.

Actually we had 2 public holidays for Easter (Friday and Monday) and Tuesday was a public holiday for Anzac Day because Easter Sunday public holiday fell on Anzac Day so they pushed it back one day

It's strange which countries get public holidays for which things. My other half's mum was telling me last week that people in South Africa have 3 workers days or something this week so if they take off the days in between they get 11 days off.. I wouldn't mind 11 days off.. Might actually help me sleep to get rid of this flu! Yuk

Nope - one workers day, which is the 1st of May

But because it falls on a Sunday, the Monday automatically becomes a Public Holiday (wish they would do that if it falls on a Saturday).

So, we get Easter Friday and Monday off and then we had yesterday (which was Freedom Day).
It just so happened that Easter is closer to the end of April this year, so yes, if you put in for 3 days leave, you would have 8 days off in total.

It's very confusing, but winter's starting (it always starts during Easter) so not complaining about sleeping late when it's raining
