    Default Sportsbook affiliate question

This is my very first post here so first and foremost i would like to say Hi

Secondly i hope i have posted this is in the right area.

I am looking to expand my affiliate areas to include USA players on sportsbooks, as you know there are not that many because of the laws.

I did a search on here and in an old thread bookmaker was recommended, i ahve an account with them and was about to start to promote them but came across this in the terms and conditions

4.1b b. Affiliate will earn commissions for the life of a Customer, on all transactions the Customer carries out at Bookmaker.com. Affiliate is required to have a minimum of 10 active players during the previous week to withdraw/transfer their earnings.

If i am reading this right it means i must have 10 active affiliates in the previous week to be entitled to a payout, regardless of the amount.

Surely this cannot be right, can it?

I have looked at others like legendz, the greek, betjamaica and quite a few others and they all have negative carry overs, no good then, i ahve bet365 in my stable as the only negative carry over in europe and dont want anymore.

I know intertops are excellent and they will be my primary book, but i need two more that are highly regarded and i dont seem to be able to find any.

So my questions are first, have i got the bookmakers conditions right and second apart from intertops can anyone recommend a highly regarded sportsbook that has lifetime commision, with no negative carry over and that accepts USA players.

    Thanks in advance

I stopped promoting Bookmaker a long time ago for this exact reason. Couple that with the fact that their conversions were pure crap (for me), makes them a VERY poor decision for promotion.

    I promote:

    BetUS
    Bodog

    Those are my 2 primaries.

    Thanks for the quick reply

I sort of never considered Betus because of their low rating over at SBR, i am weary of promoting a book that is not highly rated for punters as well as affiliates, though i dont trust SBR ratings on european books.

Bodog are higher rated as punter friendly but they have not had the best press over the last 18 months,

But their terms are what i am after, i suppose its a judgement call really, they are both not rated that low and maybe i am putting to much stock in SBR's opinion.

Think i will give these two a go but monitor their reputations at all the rating sites.

    Again thanks

If you talk to the guys at Bookmaker you can probably get them to list that restriction. I promote them an get some decent checks on occassion without those restrictions.

I am interested in getting some people's opinion on Commission account and sportsbook.com

Sportsbook.com have an appalling reputation. I don't promote them and wouldn't.

Referring back to the original post and thread - Bookmaker.com's restrictions are ridiculous. BetUS also have minimum player requirements.

I wouldn't trust a sportsbook that didn't carry over negatives. This isn't casino gambling. This is a different industry altogether.

Incidentally, I agree with BetPartners over SBR's ratings of European bookies. It's very strange that Bet365 and Ladbrokes etc can never seem to get past the B+ rating, where as sportsbooks based in Costa Rica get A ratings.

I mean, clearly BetOnline.com (who I actually like, incidentally) must be far more reputable than Johnny-Come-Latelys like Ladbrokes who have only been around for 110 years or so.

I've sent over 100 players to BetOnline in the past year since joining and according to my stats, only one of them deposted. They are either horrible at getting deposits approved or they are fudging their reports.
