The most trustworthy affiliate managers I ever worked with is at BetUS and I will keep promoting them as long as she is there. I have no problem sendig them players every month.

I've heard good and bad things about BetUS, but with my traffic (MMA) they do better than anyone else as far as conversions go. And Travis is way on top of all that over there.

I like BetUS... their targetted-themes are really a ton better than the rest as far as I can tell.

Yea, I heard Travis got affiliate manager of the year from the Gaming Online Magazine awards which is voted by the people. They do have great affiliate managers there. BetUS is currently where Bodog used to me, in my opinion.

Lou, your point about BetOnline is interesting. I've only recently started pushing them hard because they tend to have better than usual UFC odds but I'll keep a close eye on things.

BetUS do have all the tools to make the job easier and, as GuardDog says, they do have proper landing pages and so on.

    tryme,

I am not saying BetOnline is dishonest, but maybe they just aren't good at getting deposits through for U.S. players. They seem like a book where its hard to get conversions. If I send a book a few thousands clicks and I don't start to see some earnings and deposits, I will stop promoting them, that is unless they paid me upfront.

I have had some piss poor results with EarnReal (SportsBetting.com). I think I am finished with them as I haven't seen a dime from them since I started sending them traffic a year ago (over 10,000 clicks)

BetUS has treated me very well in the past. My affiliate manager there is now the head of marketing and I have know her for a long time. She told me a while back, that she "wouldn't ever work with a book that didn't pay affiliates or players". I think a lot of the negative feedback about BetUS comes from their old reputation. They have really come along way. I would give them the "most improved book in 2008". They are also the best at getting U.S. deposits approved.

    Just my $0.02....

    Lou

Hi to everyone here - new poster.

Although we just are launching the affiliate program for our product for the very first time ever - this being said - we are not new to the online affiliate world - in fact both myself and the additional staff from DimeCash come from extensive affiliate backgrounds with several years of combined experience.

What we see in the affiliate world on the gaming side is communication, lack of really solid stats and willingness to work with affiliates to get them not only current but really innovative tools for them to better convert traffic is actually quite lacking. (this is a very general statement but one that I've personally seen multiple times)

One of the big problems that I've seen in this industry so far is really the lack - sub-par programming and automation features available in affiliate software such as IA & NR - in reality things should be much further developed and run much more smoothly.

I personally would like to find out what the affiliates in this business are really looking for to help improve their ROI and ROT.

I look forward to an open dialog and I'm always available for your questions and ideas.

Sports.com - I edited your post because you are NOT a certified affiliate program here. You may submit your information on the right - you will see an email for just that purpose.

Otherwise - you are not allowed to post links and promote your organization here... This is reserved for programs that have shown they are affiliate-friendly by going through our process of certification.

We don't allow just anyone to promote here.

I strongly advise you avoid bookmaker.com. I had a nasty experience with them and they were inflexible about the 10 active clients bit. They were so incredibly rude by email that I stopped promoting them and walked away from the $2000+ they owed me (would be a lot more now no doubt). I have never had to do that with any other company in ten years of promoting firms. They sprung that clause on people AFTER they had started promoting them. They have a nasty management. Do not touch them. Ones I would recommend are firstly BetUS (as has been mentioned already). Their conversions are excellent. Also Bodog, who after a problematic period seem to be back on track with their affiliate program. Also Intertops are good. I love the fact they pay so amazingly fast (unusual for a US-facing sportsbook).
On another point, i do not go along with the comment to expect negative rollover. Plenty of excellent companies do not rollover negatives. You do not have to accept it with sportsbooks at all. One exception when promoting to Uk and Europe is Bet365, who are excellent but do carryover negatives. If they would just drop that they would be the best by two miles (rather than just the best by a mile).

    Just an aside!

Recently bought a super Sports book domain and plan on getting the site up in at least 1-2 months time...

Does anyone have some advice on maybe the best 5-10 programs to promote?

Like wise - anyone know of good constant steady writers who can write good quality posts that can convert?

    Would greatly appreciate any advice.

    Cheers

    S
