| Retroactive Terms Poll - Roxy Affiliates |
NOTE: AffiliateGuardDog.com is taking this poll VERY seriously. The results of this poll will be used to determine how we classify Roxy Affiliates.
NOTE: All votes are anonymous.
Roxy Affiliates implemented a 'High Roller' Policy (Seen at: Roxy Affiliates add High Roller Policy | Casino Affiliate Programs Terms and Conditions Updates
Roxy States: That policy was the result of an agreement between our affiliates and my top management.
This policy is retroactive (applies to all players regardless of when they were referred).
The policy works as described below:
- MONTH 1 - The high roller's negative earnings will affect commissions.
- SUBSEQUENT MONTHS - The high-roller is 'fenced' (removed from the earnings calculations) until which time that player generates positive revenue at the casino.
- When the player is generating positive revenue, (s)he is returned to the affiliate account.

This poll is no less important than the previous Playshare Partners poll. Please vote!!
Another Note: Roxy claims that they talked to their affiliates and affiliates wanted this term change.
If you are a Roxy Affiliate, please comment in this thread that you either WERE or WERE NOT contacted. If you were contacted, let us know if you agreed to the change as they suggested.
Thank you.

Roxy has always been one of the most respected affiliate programs around, in my opinion. I don't understand why any affiliate would have an issue with this change. To me, it seems like a gift from Roxy to their partners, actually.

I'm confused....
How could taking the first month's income (and not properly fencing) be a gift? I would (in all seriousness) love to hear how you can back that statement up.
I am a big fan of Roxy Affiliates myself, but that doesn't allow me to forgive a contract breach.

A gift? Really? I am shocked at that statement but any hoot I voted it is not good because any type of retro change is not good. This does not effect me much since my income dropped off severely here when they pulled out of the USA, and it does not seem like they are that into working with the US affiliates as much as before.

The negative balance carried forward cannot be greater than the total aggregate negative net win for the affiliate, for that month.
|
Again, if you fence it needs to happen immediately upon the win.

Another program that is in the cost cutting mood how much microgaming programs have this "HR term" ? Playshare, Roxyaffilites, Wagershare already have this which group is next ?
To be honest it does not affect my earnings much because of the same reason : US pullout.
Once the US market is open again this term can be an effective risk aversion and cost saving measure.
When times are good terms&cond. seem a low priority, once revenue drops you see these kind of repairs.

Roxy has always been one of the "good" programs, which is why I hope they will do the fair thing and apply the changes only to players referred after the new term was created.
Edited to add: As for the term itself, I agree that the fencing should begin immediately -- not after the first month's earnings have been destroyed by the big winner. Fence him completely or not at all.

Not acceptable vote here.
With the loss of mg in the usa I am already suffering. I can't afford this term where earnings from ALL players are confiscated while sweeping for 'high rollers'. It is hurtful to my business. Luckily I have not promoted Roxy much.
On another note, it seems that some programs are claiming that 'affililiates approved' the term. I must not be getting that memo. The votes we are seeing here at AGD are overwhelmingly against. I don't understand that.

I don't accept any retro change, no matter whether it is High Roller or No Roller.
