LOL I was mighty close to buying shares in Cryptologic 4 or 5 years ago. The share price was over $30 then. Since then they have had a succession of management changes, public spats with ex-CEOs, moved the company HQ, and total and utter mismanagement. The share price is now $2.30, but it was below $1.50 the day before the DOJ announcement in December about the legality of online gambling in the US and has traded below $1 before that. Its the best investment decision I never made!

I think we also need to keep an eye on this Fotis Bachtsevanis person, since he set all of this into motion. If he ever quits InterPartners and moves to a different casino affiliate program, I will promptly dump the program.

Fotis used to work for Sportingbet, then Ladbrokes, and then he moved to InterPartners. All three have screwed affiliates in major ways.

Let me just clarify for anyone that is interested that a) I had nothing to do with the changes at Ladbrokes or Sportingbet.. in fact I was long gone before any such changes took place, and b) the changes made to the InterPartners T&Cs are not necessarily representative of my opinions, views or convictions, but, they are the company's new policy.

It was very clear in our discussions that you 'believe' what you were telling us about the changes and how there was nothing wrong with them at all. How can you say it doesn't represent your views or convictions when we have it clearly stated that you agree with the changes?

I think Dave has a lot of class not that this is really about manners is it? This is about your company doing a very predatory move against all affiliates! Your banners and links are coming off Streak Gaming with a quickness, we do not work with thieves or programs that have checks that bounce for that matter.

Looks like they didn't like the result of their decision... I just got this email:

Based on a review which included a survey undertaken earlier this year on better understanding the needs of our affiliates we have reviewed our Terms and Conditions. We would like to announce that as of February 2012 there will no longer be negative carry over applied to affiliate commissions.

These changes will be effective immediately i.e. there will be no negative carry over on commissions earned in February 2012 and previous negative balances will be set to zero. Please review the new Terms and Conditions
