Betsafe added the 'Minimum Player Rule' to their terms and conditions

There is one purpose for this and that is for the sole purpose of stealing your commissions. Stop promoting them before it becomes a serious damper on your earnings!

6.14 Your Betsafe affiliate account must have a minimum of 5 active referred Customers per month before you will be eligible for Referral Commission payment.

Hopefully Betsafe will remove this highly predatory clause. If they don't, they should expect to lose a lot of business!

I am 'out of the office' today, but should return sometime tomorrow and will try to take this up with them. I think they will find affiliates will stop promoting their properties and will likely change it without our request, though

I don't know a single affiliate who wants to promote a program with this term in place.

Betsafe has amended this term to ensure that it is not geared towards their regular afiliates (it is now geared towards fraud). The term is still in the wrong place, IMO, as it should be a fraud-only clause, but is much better than previous.

6.14 Your Betsafe affiliate account must have a minimum of 5 active referred Customers before you will be eligible for Referral Commission payment. Please note that the sole purpose of this rule is to protect us against arbitrage players taking advantage of our program. Honest affiliates that indeed owns a website and affiliates that gets all or part of their commission from Casino/Poker revenue, should not consider this rule as part of the TC.

This term has now been amended and is now 100% affiliate-friendly.

The term as it now stands ONLY applies to affiliates you attempt to defraud the affiliate program. In the event of fraud, the account can be terminated without pay.
