Firstly I wish to take this opportunity to inform all that our affiliates terms and conditions are about to be replaced with a new, revised version, which will take into account our new casino. Hopefully you should find the new T&C’s a little clearer and more agreeable.
The terms and conditions discussed here were set out a year an a half ago when we were just a poker site. We will be launching our new casino with Micogaming later this month and the new terms and conditions for affiliates will also be available for you to review then.
I would like to help clear up the points and issues raised here in the hope of giving you some idea of our policies and also give an indication of the new terms and conditions soon to be available;

1. (4.3)

4.3 Time of Payment. Affiliate Fees will be paid and sent out to you within fifteen (15) days of the close of each calendar month, except that, if the total amount due is less than $75, the balance will be carried over and added to the next month's Affiliate Fees until the total amount is more than $75. Further, if the amount due is negative in any particular month, then that negative amount will carry over and be deducted against the following month. In the event, the balance amount carried over does not total $75 within a consecutive three (3) month period, then the amount due will be voided and cancelled, and we may terminate this Agreement.
Despite the fact that these T&C’s do state that we may void, cancel and terminate the account in the circumstances stated above, I would like to specify that this is not something we have ever done. If a case arose, whereby an affiliate account did not total $75 within a consecutive (3) month period, we would contact the affiliate and investigate the reasons why and take all reasons into consideration before making any decisions regarding that account.
Also, I wish to point out that this term is very much dependant on the payment method. For example, if the affiliate does not make the amounts set out below, then the balance will roll over to the next month:
Cheque - $100 commission or over
NETeller - $20 commission or over
Wire transfer - $1250 commission or over
Player Account - $20 commission or over
The reasons why we have these requirements is that we pay for the charges and not the affiliates. Obviously if we are transferring very small amounts, the actual fee for Neteller for example will be more than the actual commission.

2. (4.8 ) This has never been the case. The negative amount is not carried forward; if an affiliate account ends the month with a negative amount the account will begin the next month at $0. We state this as unfortunately there are some affiliates who are not as honest as others. If we see that the negative amount has been caused due to fraudulent players or for example players who have abused the bonus then we would deduct the negative from the next month. This is there just to protect us from certain cases.
If the Net Revenue quotient is a negative amount for (3) consecutive months then we would contact the affiliate and investigate the reasons why and take all reasons into consideration before making any decisions regarding the account.

3. (4.9) This is in the event that we have agreed to provide an affiliate with a special deal. If we feel the affiliate is not performing to a standard which warrants such a deal, i.e. not providing any players, then we feel they no longer warrant the special rate agreed.
It is rare for us and many other affiliate programs to offer special deals such as this, and so if we feel the affiliate is not upholding their part of the deal then it is only right that we can return them to Purple Lounge’s standard deal.

Again in such circumstances the affiliate would be contacted and the reasons for lack of players introduced would be investigated before any decisions are made regarding the account.

The CPA program is something which can easily be abused and for this reason we chose not to advertise any such deal, (the same is true of a lot of affiliate programs). However if this is something an affiliate wishes to set up then they can discuss this with their affiliate manager and we will assess the feasibility based on that affiliates performance and circumstances.
Most of the affiliates we deal with seem to prefer a revenue share and we feel that if they can supply players who can drive a lot of traffic then they will benefit greatly from a revenue share in comparison to CPA program.

As above, this is something which can be abused, but if this is something an affiliate wishes to set up then he/she can contact us to discuss. We do have some affiliates on hybrid deals.

This is not the case in our new terms and conditions.

We aim to get payments sent out by the first of each month, but we allow ourselves the 15 day window stated in case of for example of technical problems. Payments are nearly always sent out on the 1st.

This is correct.
I hope this helps clarify our terms and conditions and informs you a little of what will be in the new T&C’s.
