Default Please welcome VJ Affiliates as an AGD Certified program

Thank you to Franco to helping with the terms and conditions certification for VJ Affiliates! Welcome to the AGD forums!

VJ Affiliates opened it's doors in late 2010 offering promotion of the very unique Vera and John Casino. The affiliate program uses Egass affiliate software, which offers an excellent backend to both banner management and reporting. Their affiliate reporting system is one of the better in the industry (IMO) and offers common stats reporting as well as player transactional reporting.

Vera & John Casino opened in 2011 and offers a wide array of gaming, including: Net Entertainment, Microgaming, Betsoft, IGT, PlayNGo, and NYX games! This is a very unique casino and well worth a look.

Revshare is 25-50% with no negative carryover.

Welcome to AGD Franco and VJ Affiliates!

I was wondering if AGD or VJAffiliates could clarify exactly the percentage of revenue they deduct as fees before calculating commissions? I asked them this a long time ago and the answer was evasive and non specific so I never ended up doing anything with them.

    I'm referring to this term:

2.1.12. “Net Revenue” for any particular period of time shall mean Gross Revenue for the same period of time less license fees, betting and gaming taxes, payment costs, bonuses and/or loyalty bonuses, jackpot contribution, rake backs given to the Referred Players and chargebacks/refunds
In my experience most Net Ent licensees charge a minimum 20% in fees before commission so it can make a huge difference to your income.

30% and we have never been evasive about it.
Just send to me who/how/when the question was asked so I can find out what was answered.

Thanks - and VJ was evasive because whoever I spoke to previously refused to tell me when I asked. But no matter, thanks for letting us know here and now.

As some programs pay commission on gross revenue and others pay on net it helps to compare apples with apples. Here are the VJ commission tiers as % of both net and gross revenue (VJ net is 70% of gross after the 30% deduction):

    0€ – 5.000€ : 25% net = 17.5% gross
    5.001€ – 10.000€ : 30% net = 21% gross
    10.001€ – 20.000€ : 35% net = 24.5% gross
    20.001€ – 30.000€ : 40% net = 28% gross
    30.001€ – 50.000€ : 45% net = 31.5% gross
    50.001€+ : 50% net = 35% gross

    Thanks for bringing that up.
I was just thinking about adding them to my sites - but for just 17.5% I don't think I'll bother...

Do you know which other NetEnts apply this 30% fee?
Could be I'm promoting others who do, but didn't notice.

Almost all of the Net Ent casinos have these charges. I can't think of one that doesn't. Not all of them declare the exact rate in their terms but it is usually 20-30%.

To be fair if you point this out, most programs are willing to set up a special flat rate deal or something (don't accept anything less than 40% minimum). The games they have released over the past 2 years or so are outstanding and players love them, so don't dismiss them all just based on the commission rates.
