    Crap! MasterCard/Visa clampdown

Does anyone know if the issue with MasterCard affects U.S. players only, or does it apply to non-U.S. players as well?

Superior has sent out this e-mail to players
So, seems Visa is still an option .......

We have some inconvenient news. MasterCard Worldwide © has announced that it will no longer allow transactions for online gaming sites. USA players can now only use their Visa cards to deposit. We are working on implementing Diner’s Club and American Express soon at our cashier as deposit options.

For now we have a USA-trusted alternative deposit and withdrawal solution:

    EWALLETXPRESS

The trusted US online payment site that allows you to purchase safely online in millions of sites. You can also receive your casino winnings through EwalletXpress and transfer them directly to your bank account.

We invite you to register for FREE at EWALLETXPRESS:

I would assume this would only affect U.S card holders. However, I hear a few Canadians have been denied making Sportsbook transactions using Visa or Mastercard.

But would a MC or Visa preloaded debit work differently? Also would it not be matter of time before online gaming sites find a fix?

Many issues but what I do know is my preloaded debit Visa and Mastercard are working.

Before this mess was made public I noticed the radio button to deposit via MC in my QT account was disabled so I asked live help and they said it was a technical issue.

If the visa option gets diabled then I think we're all fk'd.

What is the percentage of deposits made via MasterCard in comparison to other payment methods? or Credit cards in general in comparison to other payment methods?

I think based on the latest trends credit card companies are finding the debit card are becoming very popular amongst consumers. The MC/Visa debit cards can purchase almost anything a real one can. One can book flights, hotels, shop online, car rentals etc... And to a certain extent it makes sense. Debit cards provide better security, cost, and pay as you go. For me I hate Dedt and if I were to calculate interest paid over my lifetime yikes that would be scary.

On that note here is the latest on MC/Visa debit cards,

Debit cards are increasingly propping up the bottom lines of credit card giants MasterCard and Visa, reflecting a shift in spending habits, especially in the U.S., where consumers are less likely to rely on credit cards for day-to-day purchases such as gas and groceries

I could be wrong but the Dedit Card might behave differently because you are loading it with your own funds. As opposed to borrowing the funds.

I have been asking around and I am told this is a Rival issue and others are doing just fine.

    So it is:
    - Only Rival
    - Only US players

    Right?
