Toshiba - I have had several and all with some issue

Dell - I have had mostly Dells over the last 5 years. Have had issues, but they fix them quickly via their support. Does cost $$ for the support, though. Right now my Dell has video issues, so I can't use a second monitor The previous Dell, one day, threw out a puff of smoke and was done Got a replacment within a day, though, through Dell support.

I got a new Samsung laptop last month. So far so good. I like that it's thinner and lighter then my Toshiba was. The Toshiba is still going strong after several years of hard use.
