This morning I got this message

Hi, I am looking to distribute our live video flash banner (attached).

- it is a dublin, ireland based casino business (broadcast from the fitzwilliam card club) - it is a casino gambling related banner - the banner file is small (15kb) - video is pulled from external source (limelight networks live video distribution CDN) - this banner can be redesigned to specific sizes (please advise) - this banner can be embedded directly, or i can supply the code block to load the banner from my own host (this keeps it 'updatable by me' aswell) - i dont want a 'banner exchange', i am looking to pay for placement directly. It included a flash video, and the code to display it. I was wondering if any one from Lucky Live knows (A) where this came from, and (B) is it safe to open this banner and view or am I being phished?

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. That was not sent by our program LiveCasinoPartners.com or LuckyLiveCasino.com.

By reading the email it seems like they want to place their adds on your sites. Oddly enough it doesn't mention your specific sites, the casino they are promoting, software platform used, or the affiliate program at all.

A serious webmaster would not sell a generic space like that. Who even knows if they are legitimate or not.

However, they are strongly suggesting that they are using the Fitzwilliam Card Club and Casino in Dublin, Ireland. If that is the case then they are using the Vuetec software, which I do stand behind. This sounds like someone hired a "SEO specialist" without knowing the gambling niche.

That being said, I do have a lot of videos of the live dealers that affiliates can use. I have the .mov and .flv (flash) formats as well. Just PM me here for more info.

I don't know if that was a typo, but WCD Admin was probably a bad name to choose for a forum. Maybe Andy can change it to WCD.
