    Default How many of you:

How many of you manage to make a good living and work only as an gambling affiliate.
I mean that you do not need another job beside this buissiness because the buissiness gives you all the money you need.

If so how is your life now compared to before when you had a regualr job?

I am trying to gather some information around this due to the fact my plans are to in the future to make a subaffiliate site, and I am interested i how many success stories there really are=)

You should have added a poll to your post, then people could vote to let you know rather than having to type an answer. You would get a LOT more feedback IMO.

For me personally: I was doing it part time for the first 2 years before I started earning enough to consider giving up my day job.
I did give it up in 2008 - which was my best ever year. After that it was all downhill.
I certainly wouldn't say I make a "good living" off it, but I earn enough to get by. My wife still goes to work, while I look after our 2 small kiddies. This means it's hard for me to actually do anything like as much work as I would like to - but it's definitely WAY better than working 8-5 for someone else!

I think there should be a lot more options in this poll, the yes/no options are far too black and white, some people would rather continue working and double their income whereas others might earn enough to get by and then quit their jobs. It also depends on the type of person you are and whether you enjoy having a regular income, imo its not just a matter of I make X amount so I will quit, some people have children, bigger mortgages, bigger salaries to sacrifice etc, I think you should take a look at a poll, how much do you earn instead, I'm sure I saw one over here, if not it was GPWA

I can see an edit icon (pencil). That shouldn't have gone away. Let me know if I need to edit it.

Regardless of how the poll is phrased: it's still an important question. I remember finding CAP when I was very new to this industry and my assumption was that everyone on that forum was a full-time professional gambling affiliate. It took a while for me to realise that wasn't the case.

To answer Adrenaline's question: I'm a full time internet marketer but not a full-time gambling affiliate. Gambling makes up maybe 30% of my monthly income.

In terms of lifestyle: I love working for myself as I was a rubbish employee but it's certainly not all 'sitting on the beach with a laptop'.

I've been working as a full-time gambling affiliate for 3 and a half years. Its certainly much easier and more flexible than working a regular job, but it can get a bit boring and lonely sometimes. I don't miss being stuck in peak hour traffic, and I don't miss the low pay I used to get, but I definitely miss the social component of working with other people. In saying that, being at home and bored is still better than my last job as a security guard lol
