Hey Andy, Help With WordPress Please

Hi Old Friend,

hey I think I may have mentioned having to switch over to wordpress.

Sadly I am seeing worse results than before which is akin to saying the frying pan I was standing in has now turned to molten lava.

... sigh.


I'm using the seo plugins and I think I am doing them right. However I do admit I have (in at least a couple cases) trimmed the content on the page because I was told by whom I know is knowledgeable, that it is easier to rank for keywords with less text than with more.

However I doubt that is either way of matter.

I suspect it is all the gobbly-gook that is in the header part of the page.

My old pages, maybe not SEO poster childs, at least didn't take up half or more of the screen just to fit the header stuff in.

I know you are successful. Can I ask a hint in the right direction?

for some reason I can't get the entire header to show up here, can I ask you to visit the site and look at the page source to see the header.

It takes up almost the whole screen on my PC and usually I can fit the header area into the top 1/4 or less of the screen.

*sorry I don't have better terminology.

Don't feel dejected, I contacted Andy a couple of times last week and although I managed to get a response he was very busy.

I'm sure he'll get around to both of us in due course.

Ya and I should have thought of that before starting this thread, but i was just frustrated and remembered that Andy also uses the wordpress and ... thought about nobody but myself.

I did eventually get my own hint however and found the thread about the mentoring. Sadly I think Andy needs to split into about 6 in order to satisfy that long list of wannabe students.
