So Omni and CS Casino are moving to Playtech from Crypto? I wonder why that is - doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense. Is this an undercurrent of something bigger happening on the Crypto side of things?

I got the email and didn't quite understand why this is happening. Not that it is bad, IMO, but interesting nonetheless.

The move was obviously a management decision for Peak (Omni, CS, Sunpoker.com). They have been with Crypto since they started in 1997 and wanted to move to a different network for strategic reasons.

Playtech and the iPoker network have a lot to offer Omni Casino and Sunpoker.com going forward. iPoker is one of the largest poker networks in the world and offer quite a number of features that poker players enjoy including extensive language offerings, localized currencies, and attractive poker tournaments and promotions. Omni and Sunpoker will also receive any new games from Playtech when they are released to the public. We will no longer have to wait 6+ months for our casinos to receive the latest game updates.

This should be an exciting 2009 and I look forward to working with everyone!

Mark

To answer this question, I really don't know. I just know that Peak (Omni, Sunpoker.com) are moving to Playtech. I really don't know the future plans for Cryptologic.

Ah - I think I understand now It does make sense, especially on the new game release issue that I always disliked. You had to wait sooooo long to get the new casino games with Crypto, it was a bummer.

Plus the large poker network will help a ton.
