I loved their casinos and thought the games could use some extra mechanics/features, but that they were on the right track. Really would like to see a casino software like this rise up the ranks and kick some of the more rogue operations out.

Anyone know the status?

ISSUE:
Online Casinos will typically let players deposit any amount of money into the casino. A player could deposit $100 or $10,000 with no issues. When that player WINS, though, they are restricted on the amount of money they can withdrawal. Cashout limits range from $750 / week to unlimited. A very typical weekly cashout is $2500-$3000 / week.

Where does this leave affiliates?
The problem I see (and others see as well) is that it can become very difficult to land and keep a high roller with such paltry cashout levels. A good high roller would never accept this. Which means that high rollers will go elsewhere and not be 'retained'.

Where does this leave players?
A player who wins a decent amount and has to wait weeks, months, or years, to realize that winning will be very frustrated with this payout schedule. Maybe they will play back some of that money, maybe they will move on to a casino that doesn't have such petty cashouts.

What happens now?
I have said this before.... when Vegas casinos come online, any casino with a cashout level can kiss their players goodbye. Who would accept that when Vegas would pay you all your winnings in near-immediate fashion? Answer - not many (IMO)

A poll is attached, but it is really tough to create something that captures the mindset here. Feel free to take part in the poll or, better yet, let's discusss.

I was previously a long time player with Main Street Casinos and deposited with all of them for the past 3-4 years. In June 2010, I asked Jason Carter who my affiliate was so that I could speak with them regarding incidents which happened at SunPalace casino.

I was told they could not reveal this due to "confidentiality reasons". I wanted someone to speak to in terms of how SunPalace handled a payout request after winning one of their jackpots. Incidentally, they will not flush a players account even when asked and leave the funds in there for over 5 days (hoping you will reverse and lose). They also will not provide play logs after being asked 3-4 times.

I became so disgusted with them, I closed every single account at each of their casinos. I was depositing between $400-500 each time. The affiliate should know the reason why he lost a player and understand how players feel disrespected by these casinos.

Is that normal protocol where a player should not know who the affiliate "tagged to their account" is?

Doo-Wop Daddy-O - What do you think?

I put up my review of this slot, here: Doo-Wop Daddy-O Review | Video Slot (http://www.rivalslots.com/rival-casino-slots/1095/doo-wop-daddy-o/)
...

I put up my review of this slot, here: Doo-Wop Daddy-O Review | Video Slot

(Review at the bottom of that page)

I know Rival has to put up both high and low variance slots, but it seems to me that slots with this style of bonus round are way more irritating than they are fun. Especially when you have wins like I did (Once bonus round I won $4.00 on a $2.00 betsize).

Seriously... This game is all about letting players play for a long time, but eventually losing out because there is almost no way to ever win more than you lose. I'll almost bet that 99.9% of the players will never win anything on this slot.

Anyway - that is my frustration after playing the game for quite awhile trying to gather screenshots. Anyone else played it yet? What are your thoughts?

August is quickly coming to an end, so how are the commissions doing? For me they are better this month than they have been in a long time. This is thanks mainly to Sloto and Ruby Royal with a little help from a few others such as:

Simon Says
Villento
400 Affs
Affiliate Wide
Pantasia
BetUS

According to Statsremote, that is :)

At least this month I can use a little more affiliate income for AGD! It's been tough the last few months to ciphon much from my affiliate earnings, but seems like I am back on track with earnings again.

How about everyone else?

I ask because I always think about doing this, but never follow through with it. I tend to write pages for the user and not the search engines. Maybe it's not the best way to do it, but has always been the way I have done things.
If nobody is aware, WMS Gaming is soon to launch a casino (Jackpot Party - Come on in!
There is a thread at GPWA about this, but would love a great discussion here about this. Even though US is not likely going to be allowed (for players), I assume affiliates will be allowed and the interest level for current casino gamers will be phenomenal, IMO.
