Default Casino Reviews

Something that I've always wondered, and maybe you can shed some light..
I see sites that have casino/bingo/poker REVIEWS that is a page long with just text.

Do players actually read the entire review before deciding to play?
Or is this done for the search engines?

If I was a player that wanted to gamble, I would look for the most important points before signing up like : deposit methods, software, welcome bonuses, payment times and maybe support.... Casino games - Well most casinos have the same games except for slots.

I certainly wouldn't read a page long review

I think most of the time it is just for content, I know we do it for that purpose

Yes, I think it's more important for players to know deposit/withdrawal methods, bonuses, support and etc. But it's also important to know that this casino is fair and safe. Sometimes players want to know more details about the casino before start playing there. And it's always better to write a page long review than to write nothing about the casino and offer only the banner or link to this casino.

I have seen plenty of affiliates with reviews that are really long.

What I would recommend is to put a box/matrix at the top of the page that summarises the major points you want to display to your users.

Users then have the option to 'grab' the brief info on display and sign-up or can scroll down for more detailed analysis.

I do what Chris does too. I have 1000-3000 word long page divided into different sections.

I place the "critical action orientated" info in the pages "hot spots". The bonuses, types of games, and my recommendations as well as links to read more are more visible. I do that to ensure that the info needed to make a sound judgment is there at a glance.

Other than than, I've been trying to deviate from the Search Engine reviews to more reader based reviews. That is a hard transition for me. lol..
