Default casino in domain better for seo ?

I wanted to have a online casino themed domain name and bought this one online casino (not online yet) for $9, do you think the hyphens are bad for SEO? IMO it is worth the gamble to invest some time in this one. Please correct me if I am wrong.

    Thanks!

It's absolutely horrible for SEO! Please sell it to me for $9 hehe

I would love to have that domain, to be honest. The only difficulty in names like these is repeat visitors, IMO. You pretty much have to rely on SE traffic and/or bookmarks.

For keywords, it is fabulous, though, an hyphens do not degrade from that in my experience.

I probably wouldn't buy a domain with more than two hyphens -- any more than that seems spammy (to me, anyway). One or two hyphens is fine, though.

Nice domain you found, by the way!

I stay away from hyphens, too. I might make an exception with a two word domain... for instance "online-casinos.com"

But I have heard the hyphens are quite popular in other parts of the world (outside the U.S. I mean) ..... in some places more popular than no spaces.

What would you do develop into a blog or a static html/php website?

I would prefer a normal website.....I think LOL

Congrats on that $9 domain name!
If you don't mind me asking; Were you using a domain name service or did you just get lucky?

I been using hyphens in domain names for years.
I got a lot of really good domain names, for cheap, back a few years ago when a lot of folks said hyphens were Bad for SEO...

The major SE's are smart about hyphens, underlines or "spaces" in domain names.

There is an argument to be made that hyphens in domain names, improve user experience.

    For example:
    onlinecasinoreviews.com
    or
    online-casino-reviews.com

Which one is easier for the average user to read?
(added: I just picked these domain names off the top of my head, no offense meant to anyone. )

Just found it somewhere was not searching for it, but I did a check if the domain was not registered and it was not, I thought maybe a good investment...........

Then I thought why not register the .net too

    There is a lot of debate over this topic. Personally I think that the Google algorythm is advanced enough to extract keywords out of any domain;

    onlinecasino.x and realised online casino.

Using dashes is good in terms of user experience.
