Terms Alert Casino.com Adds Predatory ?Minimum Player Rule? to terms and conditions

It appears Casino.com is now following the few programs who wish to deter affiliates from promoting their property. They have enacted a very predatory minimum player rule which requires 5 players prior to payment.

ADDED TERM, Commissions, High Roller Policy

5.12 A minimum of 5 First Time Depositors (FTDs) are required before a payment withdrawal request can be made by you.

Summary:This term is horrible for so many reasons. If an affiliate were to send their 1st - 4th players as high rollers, but Casino.com could not convert the rest of their players… The affiliate would not receive payment and Casino.com would profit incredibly. This is an active attempt to dissuade affiliates from sending traffic and is extremely counter-productive for a program to implement.

Another ridiculous term; thanks for the heads up.

Affiliates would be wise to steer clear of the Casino.com affiliate program.

    WTF

Agreed. I have to get over to GPWA and announce these last few as well.

I wish these programs would understand that treating us like partners is what keeps our confidence and loyalty - not illegally changing contracts.

Now I havent read the entire T&C for this site, but the term you are referring to is not as bad as you state it is.

It just say they can not request a cash out until they have 5 first deposit. Could be one way to protect against affiliates that sign up them self and a mate or two and want to get revshare.

You will still make money right? but not be able to cash them out until you have 5 players that makes a deposit. So if the affiliate brings in 4 big players, and no more players at all, you would still make money, but not be able to cash them out until you get that last 5th player.
