Careful with Interwetten Affiliates, they close affiliate account...

Signed up with them in Jan 2009 to promote their mg casino with net rev share, thought I had the life time deal like most other programs offer on rev share, especially microgaming casinos. Did not read though the whole terms when i signed up.

However today I got the following e-mail from them...

Dear Partner,

following thorough analysis of the performance of all of our affiliate partners in 2011, we have concluded that either no or only a very small number of new registrations were completed via your affiliate account. For commercial reasons a continuation of our partnership is therefore no longer practical. For this reason we see no other option than to terminate our business relationship and inform you that we will close your affiliate account on 31.01.2012. Upon termination of the contract and closure of your affiliate account, your entitlement to the use of Interwetten marketing material of any kind will expire.

So one day before they close my account, they send me this!
I logged in to check, and see I even earned a few Euros this month, means there is still activity.
We did not do much with them, just a few forum post for their sign up bonus and current offers.
We did bring them 33 depositing players, not much....... but still........

I looked at their terms today and seems they have been updated in 2011.

There was also such a case posted on CAP, and seems nothing came out.
Interwetten closing my aff account w/o reason :-(


Just letting everyone know.......... Better don't join InterWetten Affiliates.

Hi,

I just want to tell that you aren't only Interwetten affiliate affected by this performance bullshit. I got same email from Rene Hartl on 30-01-2012 but I asked to give me more time until I finnish some casino and poker sites and they say I have time to the end of April.

For now I have decided to lower their exposure, but I am sure that they will get review on my site like other scam programs such as Betcris.

Also, I would like to know what you think about promotion of programs like Interwetten (programs we don't (trust) promote hard) through programs like gambling-affiliation.
