The recently sacked affiliate manager e-mailed me today and said I should remove all banners...
The e-mail does not sound good at all.

Anyone else know anything more?

In case someone didn't get it, here it is:

Dear affiliates,

This Sunday, the 27th of June, I was notified by the owners of Planet23 of the termination of my employment.
Sadly, my working at Planet23 has come to an end. Due to owners and investors policy, the company took a decision to terminate all affiliate deals within the immediate time until they solve management issues with RIVAL.
I (sadly but formally) ask you to take us off your domains and from any other activity until a further formal notice made by Planet23.
Any future communication with Planet23 should and will be made via this address: affiliates@planet23.com
Planet23 management will be available for your questions at this address.

Look for a domino effect from some of the other rival casinos. We could see another 4-6 go by the wayside soon.

Rival doubled the HOLD on deposits late last week, thus making the casino basically have to pay rival to operate for a couple months til the holds get released. This is putting a big strain on the operators.

Yeap word is Rival is holding 40% of all deposits for an extremely amount of time so these small casinos have no choice but to close there is no way they can Rival, pay winners, affiliates and still survive.

Rival is really showing how much they do NOT have the business management skills to survive in this industry.

Rival makes the wrong decisions over and over again. I am starting to expect another blow weekly now.

I understand that times are not the best for anyone, but I am still chewing on the way they ban perfectly good players with regularity, or limit their deposits to where they just don't care to bother anymore.

Wonder how many more are following them, just received this e-mail from Royal Apollo:

Dear affiliates, Due to the ongoing issues we are having with processing and Rival management we will be closing down our site in the next few days. We are committed to providing top standards of gaming and support to both players and affiliates. This decision was not easy , but the ongoing issues are not allowing us to offer these standards. Please terminate all affiliate deals within the immediate , we hope (we can't enforce this as its Rival that holds all fees), that Rival will respect and honor the current and future revenue that you are entitled to. Thank your, Michael and Emma, Royal Apollo Affiliates

Well if he past is any hint of the future... Don't expect RIVAL to honor anything...

I dropped all Rivals a while ago... glad I did.
