Default Banners, Script, Flash, and Gif

    Hey guys,

I am trying to figure something out... I put GIF banners in my database, exclusively, to track clicks. However, there are more and more programs using script banners instead. How am I supposed to put these in my system?

I do NOT want them in as script, I want them in as banner style... but it seems like a lot of work

    Any ideas?

I use gifs for the most part because it's easy to control where the link points. With Flash banners, I have occasionally edited the code so that the link points to my own tracking link. But, the Flash file was still hosted by the affiliate program; I never tried to save the Flash file and upload it to my own server. I assume it's possible, but I've never done it.

I've done that with flash also. But I really need to be able to do something with the scripted banners. That's the real problem. Why don't programs make it easy on us and offer gif AND scripted?
