Affcorner: Why only Bet Phoenix links in backend??
Hi,

After CWC Affiliates also the Affcorner backend is driving me crazy.

Why aren't all affiliate links for all brands there?

Was like this weeks ago so I had this Skype conversation with aff manager Priscilla:

Quote:
[26/01/2010 8:10:42] Me: Hi Priscilla, one question about affcorner: Where do I find the aff links for betmania, Bogart, Sports-1 and Wagerchief? When I log in at affcorner I go to a domain betphoenixaffiliate.com, and was wondering if I need seperate accounts for each casino... ?

[26/01/2010 18:52:46] Priscilla (Affcorner): all banners and links for the rest of the brands will be in the page shortly... right now the banners that will expre after superbowl will be the betphoenix ones

[26/01/2010 18:53:38] Me: ok, so I will wait for affcorner to update its backend than

[26/01/2010 18:53:42] Me: thanks, bye

[26/01/2010 18:54:00] Priscilla (Affcorner): correct! if you need anything else just let me know

[26/01/2010 18:54:05] Priscilla (Affcorner): have a nice day!

[26/01/2010 18:54:14] Me: thanks, ditto!
Apparantly 'shortly' isn't there yet. Also no clue what "right now the banners that will expre after superbowl will be the betphoenix ones" means.

Sorry if a bit harsh in this post but just driving me insane that I want to promote someone and they are making it so hard for me!

Update: Spoke to Priscilla on Skype and:
- She was so kind to create Wager Chief & Bet Mania (seperate) aff accounts for me (appreciated!)
- She wants to react to this thread but her account at AGD can not post (she's contacting Andy)
- Spots-1 and Bogart (seperate) aff programs will be ready by Wednesday

Agreed. I also asked Priscilla about the lack of WagerChief banners and got the same response. She did assure me that the old links were still being tracked, but surely if you are launching a new affiliate site, it makes sense to put all your brands in there.

I keep trying to push BetPhoenix and WagerChief because they're good books and not overexposed, but I agree with Peter-Jan, they not making things easy.

Yup. Easily one of the most overlooked metrics by new affiliates:

% offers shown for which visitor does not have account yet (or if (s)he has, via your link)

This metric should be as high possible obviously.

The affiliate program is a big mess.

Links generated from Betphoenix aff. have a %20 added while I have a Bogart link that show whitout %20.

I made a sale of $5.................but for what ??

Were is Wagerchief added can not find a thing I am looking for ?

I do not understand why this program has earned an affiliate guard dog seal !!

Dear Affiliates:

I really apologize for the inconvenience. If you need any specific banners for our other brands I would be more than glad to help you out. The reason for the delay is that we are having each of the brands under the AffCorner separate from each other. They will be separate, so you can have your stats more accurate. That way you can see which brands need more exposure and work better for you.

Right now the sites that are ready are:

BetPhoenix - Affiliate Program
betmania - Affiliate Program
Wagerchief - Affiliate Program

Sports-1 and Bogart Casino sites will be available after Wednesday. All old tracking URLs and banners are working properly in the meantime. New links will be different so once all pages are up with the new marketing tools I recommend you update all links.

If you have any questions or comments please don't hesitate to contact me anytime.

Best Regards,

Priscilla Rodriguez

Hi Tryme,

If you ask me for any specific marketing tools I will send them to you. Just send me your request and I'll make it happen. Do you need more 250x250 banners? Just shoot me an email and I'll be more than glad to help you out.

Best Regards,

Priscilla

Priscila,

Our affiliate account is a huge mess!!!! Please help.

I just noticed Aff Corner changed everything. All your sports book links are no longer working for

Wager Chief
Bet Mania
Bet Phoenix
Sports 1

It seems all aff tags are all different now. We cannot log in with aff code and passwords...

May i ask why affiliates were not notified?

Can you please help us with all these 4 brands!!!

or should we go ahead and remove??

Steve

I also want to ask

When you changed your whole affiliate backend - why did you not inform affiliates of this?

Why do you not respond to emails?

Steve

They did send out an email notifying affiliates of the change. I got one on Jan 26th with the subject line 'New AffCorner Software'.

This read:

"Dear Affiliates:

We are working hard to bring only best to your hands. For this reason we have a new and improved affiliate software. This will provide a wider range of marketing tools, reporting and tracking. Due to this software change we want to inform you that your new login will be your affiliate code and your regular password. You will also have to update your banners from the new affiliate system. Although the old banners are still working these will stop working after a week from now. We apologize for any inconvenience caused during the software transition. If you have any questions or comments don’t hesitate to contact me anytime.

Best Regards,

Thank you mate for sharing that!!! Much appreciated.

We have several accounts - and it is possible this one was overlooked by my partner since he opened that account at aff corner.

This was the time i know that all aff links had to change. I coud not understand why i was not able to log in..

Now i know it was because they changed all aff tags and banners.. LOL

looks like they got 2 months of free traffic.. LOL

Well i am going to open 4 new accounts to be safe.. and hopefully if we have players in those others they will migrate over.. when the decide to answer emails.. :-)

Thanks mate.

Steve
