Youtube channel for SEO

I am thinking about youtube channel for my portal but.... I even dont know... shoud I spend time to create tons of simple videos only for getting indexed pages....
Do you use youtube channel for seo? If so... maybe someone can point me some examples how to do it better for the site.
P.S. A lot of my competitors just add a lot of simple videos to their youtube channels just to put a link in the end of the description.... I have tested this thing for my another project but I wont do the same... I would like to do more quality not quantity.

Oh gush... speaking to the point... I know that some real online gamblers create youtube channels and show how they gamble for real money at different places... I think it is a one method of a really cool youtube way to promote yourself and your product...as a rule, such video bloggers get cool audience and the channel with even 100+ REAL subscribers can bring some cool profit... So, the question=))) how much videos of such content should be added per week? And if you visit such channels, what do you want to see? Simple gambling for real money?Or something else?

Videos are very time consuming and I wouldn't advise you make a channel with 10 videos in hopes it with provide seo value, time could be much better spent elsewhere.

I think you should've quoted AlexTu, because it was his question at the first place ;-) And I don't go along with the idea that videos are time consuming, everybody has a 3G Internet nowadays, it's super fast

Yeah, that is why I ask about some true methods for using youtube. I absolutely agree that getting simple links from description under youtube videos is waste of time... but why a lot of webmasters do it? Speaking about it, what do you think about videos on the slots pages? For example, a lot of sites add demos & reviews but 95% of such pages dont contain video content at all. So, the question... we have 2 pages with the same content but 1 page has a video on the page, will it be better?

Google owns Youtube, so all kind of new videos/pages coming up on Youtube, linking to your casinoportal goes thru some serius Google analytic filters that digg in to questions like "is this yet an other satellite link building on social platforms, boosting seo or is this a video that has some content that viewers find useful"

I think google is a huge machine that has over 200 different small, individual scanners that mesure every single thing you do on any of their or even 3 part pages/services.
If you go all in SEO and only do it for google, you will be busted!

Agree with you. That is why I dont do this trash things nowadays...However, I am thinking about the youtube channel where I do videos how I play for money in different casinos... I know some people who do it and get juicy subscribers...It is like a lets play of call of duty or something like this. If gamblers like to see how other people gamble so...maybe I should test it. And I am talking exactly about content and the profit through subscribers.

I can see the benefit using YT to add educational presentations. Such as a course for say noob gamblers. But people want to see YOU, the presenter on this series, not just images and words. More spinning slots, ummm... no

A good youtube channel can bring you some serious traffic, even if it doesn't give you any seo value. In my opinion a youtube channel does give seo value but I think there is more value in making good videos and getting a good following. Don't forget that there are many other video channels out there with plenty of good traffic as well.

Yes Youtube can bring you some great source of traffic. In between we can optimize the videos like we can add different annotations, Add card info for interactivity to your videos.
