William Hill was alright way back when they were using the Cryptologic platform,
but ever since they moved over to Playtech, they just can't seem to be trusted.

You could always get your AM to switch you to a CPA system. Shouldn't then be affected by their NCO or by their drop to 5% ruling.
I was looking for a couple of CPA deals with my affiliate partners to complement the usual which saved Will Hill from being dropped altogether by me.

But Will Hill have a history of fabricating the numbers - so whether you're on rev share or CPA, you just can't trust you're being paid what you're owed.

This is very interesting and I'll keep it very short.

We (us and the affiliate manager) have struck up a NEW deal whereby they pay 35% up to 25 FTD's in a month and there after its 40%

The deal was made because my previous account had a negative carry over and they had me on a silly promotion which read something like.

1st to 3rd month promotion....

Now my account reads the same BUT the numbers do add up to 35%, I'm worried after reading all this about "skimming"

Can any elaborate on this please?

I also have a great relationship with Ladbrokes but you've all got me worried.

But a lot of other programs were "alright" back then too. Everyone was making cash, hand over fist. There was no reason to shaft affiliates.

I been also been put on 5%.
Absolutely rediculous!!!!
I have emailed them several times, they only want to chance the deal if I add them to homepages and give them huge exposure. And then I get 25%.

F#ck 'm, going to remove them from every website.
I have programs that pay me 30%, 40% even 50% and they don't request that much exposure. They trust that I do my job.

I should of known better from them to be fair, they don't get more exposure on websites from me but I have agreed to give them more players via other sources.

Are they still getting players from you and put you on 5%

Well we are on a CPA deal so as to avoid this whole 5% malarky.
Yet still they manage to screw us over. Deposit level for CPA is a mere €30. Players playing every single day for a month on all the various tabs and on mobile. Turnover of thousands per day.
These players apparently never reached the €30 deposit level!

Ladbrokes are bad for affiliates - William Hill are VERY bad for affiliates.
You're better off minimising / stopping working with them IMHO.

Affiliates United is actually just CPays re-branded - you can find both of them in the Rogue House here: https://www.affiliateguarddog.com/community/forums/cpays.247/
And here: https://www.affiliateguarddog.com/community/forums/affiliates-united.69/

I will only use imitials. LM.

But this is about the 4th or 5th manager so far and all have been the same.

Test accounts do not show up also. And they also lie about legal questions.

Blacklist the whole lot of them I say. Their whole chain just cannot be trusted.

KK

Agree with KK, who has been around the industry a while, like myself. Just drop William Hill and Ladbrokes. They have a very dodgy past and dodgy practices now.

Look at it another way, these guys are mainly interested in your UK traffic and 90% of your revenues will come from the UK with these brands. You've got a lot of other more reputable advertisers to put on this traffic so you don't need to go with jokers like these guys ripping you off from Israel with no comebacks, lies, and a complete lack of repect for affiliates.

Yeah, these guys go through affiliate managers like I go through pairs of socks. The business culture in Israel is very harsh - if you don't perform you're thrown out of the door. It doesn't provide much stability for affiliates when the new guy comes in and emails you as if he's completely unaware that your affliliate account has been open 10 years. When a new guy comes in his immediate priority is to spam as many current and new affiliates to try meet his performance, not take a considered approach of working with key affiliates and making money.

A lot of the time these guys are incentivised purely on the number of people they sign up and the number of banners they get on home pages. It's all about blanketing their brand everywhere to try compete, not necessarily about individal revenues with a handful of medium to large sized affiliates, or small affiliates for that matter - revenues all add up to the big picture

Betfair don't pay you lifetime revenue share. Look at their terms and conditions. Your big players on their sportsbook will migrate to the Exchange to get better odds, then you'll find you're stitched up in some sort of William Hill-esque deal where your commissions shrink over time:
