I have a highroller in Wagershare, plus a few other players. The highroller spent quite a bit over the past 2 years or so and I was inclined to bring them more players, which I did despite their crappy promos.

Then after being on a losing streak for years, the highroller suddenly found a magic formula and started winning - every month!

Last three months of basic stats for this single player:

Purchases / Net Revenue

March $5.5k / -$2.3k
April $12.5k / -$1.9k
May $10k / -$5.4k

In June this player has already deposited $300+ in three days and my net revenue is $-630.

I emailed affiliate support asking what's going on and was told that the player plays mainly roulette and is winning. On roulette? Online? Gimme a break!

Then I was given a hint of the real reason... apparently "I had already made good money on the player", wrote the affiliate manager in his email.

So there you go. According to them I've earned enough and should be happy with that  Never mind the fact that if I hadn't referred the player to Spin Palace in the first place they wouldn't be making anything!

It's clear to me that Wagershare are fudging the Value of Purchases, Net Revenue and the Commission data columns in the reports. My guess is that they are looking for alternative ways to scam affiliates since they have already been busted for locking affiliate referred players.

Has anyone experienced the same?

I've removed all links to their casinos and have taken screenshots of my entire history with Wagershare.

I have ten years of experience in gambling affiliate marketing and this is the first time that I have seen a single player win month after month. I do accept wins every once in a while but this is ridiculous. This is actually also my first post on AGD because I just had to write about this magic winner.

It will be interesting to see for how long can this player earn a living from playing online roulette  I'll update this post with following months' stats.

There is no doubt that Wagershare are scammers and I have no intention to defend them in any way. However, there is nothing unusual about a player winning three months in a row on Roulette. Imo, give it another few months and you should be able to see if they altered your stats or not.

I agree, I've had players up thousands in March and by May it was reversed. Months are made up but you get my drift. Dont be surprised if that player losses twice as much as he / she won.

I wonder if this really works : rogue pages as most of affiliates really give a damn.

I am considering to drop the www. RogueCasinoPrograms. com site as all it does is gathering dust and having problems with it ; others accusing me of having a double agenda, pfffffff!

To survive these days I need to have many baskets and it happens that I have to promote a program I do not like that much but choices are limited and I need to make a performance based decision for the time being.

If others can not appreciate the effort, write your own damn content instead of lurking here and disapprove the work of others.

Needed to get this off my chest !

;D

I've said it a couple times, affiliates need to name the casinos, especially when making forum posts as forum posts appear quickly in SE's. Attack the type-in traffic. If they're taking earnings from you take players from them.

The key is to get the rogue sites out there on social media these days We need to make a you tube video that out lines all the shady crap Wagershare does to affiliates... something very creative and catchy!

I don't think players care about affiliates.

I can confirm the same thing happening, Wagershare and betway.com are scammers. They don't track some players and add some 'random' high-rollers. I'm pretty sure there will be many people who have at least one such magical high-roller.

Even without scamming, Wagershare converted extremely poorly. I have removed all Betway.com links from everywhere possible and renamed all Betway references to other programs who are fair.

CygX1: Sorry but you can't really think this seriously!

Which part of my post do you disagree with? That a Roulette punter cannot get ahead in his play for three months in a row?

Do you have some evidence to prove what you are implying as it is so easy to mark a program as a scam?

I don't know about this, but what I do know is that Wagershare are withholding from me over $3000 thanks to the implementation of the FU Quota clause since the beginning of 2012.

An FU Clause that they invoked because I dropped them like a stone back in 2010 when all my decent players I had referred to their properties self excluded and became locked accounts en masse. Added to the fact they also reneged on the verbal % agreed on during the LAC 2010.

They are thieves. Brian Suskind knows it, as does Tim Whyles as does their parent company Win Technologies.

June 2013 update..

After trawling in negative territory for over 90 consecutive days I have a "whopping" $635 in commission from this player for the period of June.

Coincidence or not but the stats turned in my favor just a couple of days after my initial post on this forum.

Will update again in one month's time to see how things went in July.

I wouldn't go shopping for 10 days, just in case...

FYI

Referback and Rewardsaffiliates also close player accounts on a very regular basis for various reasons.

Why this probably is not addressed is because it is not visible in the stats only if you see "#active players" drop all of a sudden.

I asked the affiliate manager of RA and got these answers :

Yes, the players account was closed.
There were 19 players in June that have either initiated chargebacks or are part of a bonus abuse group.

is it just me that gets a bunch of signups at the RA casinos but little or no wagering except from some older players?

Glad we kicked them to the curb long ago.

We promoted them for 7 years after seeing some irregularities in their affiliate backend, i.e locked accounts, dodgy stats and what we read on forums.
