I sure would like more information on this. Seems like the PR email left out some quite-important facts. Can someone from Brightshare please clarify things such as:

1. How will the redirect work?

2. What casino will it be redirected to?

3, How do we trust that the third-party casino will be trustworthy?

There are a lot more questions I would have, but I certainly would want to know that before throwing my US traffic to the wind.

EMAIL:

Brightshare PR said:
We would like to update you that currently the remnant US traffic that our clients' are receiving is being redirected to an online casino operator who accepts US players. The tracking of the traffic has been set up to enable existing affiliate banner tags to be passed on.

Therefore, all our affiliates will be earning their regular revenue share on the portion of the net revenues that our casinos will generate from these US players. Our affiliate reports are currently being updated accordingly so that all relevant US players from day one will be accounted for.

This has only just gone live so it will take a few days to put everything in place.

We will keep you posted.

Thank you for any clarification you might have.

Well, since you find on the Royal Joker Casino Homepage "Member of the Jackpot Factory Group" and the affiliate tracking is still within Intertops.
I think it could be Intertops Red where they will redirect!?

BTW, I never really got an explanation why Royal Joker is now owned by Jackpot Factory and the affiliate program is still Intertops.
Or did we?

US Traffic Redirect - More Details

Hi All,

Here are some more details regarding us traffic:

1. How will the redirect work?
When a US player clicks on the download button or the instant play on any one of our sites – he is redirected to a co branded landing page where he is able to download the Jackpot Capital casino. The bTag is carried over.

2. What casino will it be redirected to?
Jackpot Capital

3, How do we trust that the third-party casino will be trustworthy?
We did research the market and these guys have been in the business for over 10 years now, and are known as one of the most trusted casinos out there.

4. Are we going to be earning our affiliate share off of your affiliate share, is that how it is set up?
Yes, their affiliate share is off of what we earn from the traffic.

I hope these info is helpful and let me know if you need further assistance.

Jackpot Capital - Interesting, thanks Lyiu

So, Brightshare is going to pay us the comission from these players then?

Do we see reports for this players in Brightshare?

US Traffic Redirect - More Details

Hi,

Yes, Brightshare is going to pay the comission for players coming through this channel.

Actually we put up a separate report for this purpose already, whoever are sending traffic will see stats in "Additional Earning Report". We will send more details about this report later during this week.

Best Regards,

Would this be the channel located in the U.S that appeared to be having technical difficulties a few weeks ago? I believe this was discussed at the GPWA.

US Traffic Redirect - More Details

Hi Greek39,

Thanks for the feedback.
If you were referring several weeks ago we had some site issues, then these are 2 separate things and have nothing to do with each other.

The site issues are solved already.

Now we are offering a new deal for whoever is bringing U.S. traffic to us.
I hope this is clear now.

Re: Royal Joker Casino

Hi Bonus Paradise,

Regarding Royal Joker Brand, as it shows on the site - Jackpot Factory has taken over the Royal Joker Brand. The brand was taken with many attribute unique to Royal Joker. Among those was the relationships with their affiliates and the management of the payments which their program can make each month.

A second consideration was made on the relationships and promises made to existing affiliates. On this point there was a great deal of thought given as to how the commitments could be carried through in full including on players who had not yet started playing at the time of transition. It was felt that the best way of ensuring each and every commitment was met was to keep the management of the affiliate program with Intertops for an extended period of time.

The decision made was to outsource the Intertops affiliate capabilities for an initial period of 12 months based on the two factors mentioned above. We believe that this is the best solution for affiliates to guarantee fairness and fulfillment of commitments made. The team at Intertops is highly regarded and very professional and Jackpot Factory would not have agreed to this had there not been guarantees on the level of service in place. Jackpot Factory has full transparency on the affiliate system and can account for every referral tag to the Royal Joker site. This is a unique relationship with many benefits including a transfer of best practices that can only benefit the affiliates in the long term.

I hope this answers your question.
Let me know if you'd like more information

Best,

Clarification

Hi All,

Just to make it very clear : Royal Joker Brand taken over by Jackpot Factory has nothing to do with U.S. traffic redirect - 2 totally separate issues.

So is the Joker then subject to bundling with the Brightshare casinos or not?

4. Are we going to be earning our affiliate share off of your affiliate share, is that how it is set up?
Yes, their affiliate share is off of what we earn from the traffic.

Could you please clarify this point, as it seems to have been missed.

You are being paid an affiliate share by Jackpot Capital, right? Then you pay us (I assume) at our normal rate, calculated off that share. So if you are earning 50% of revenue, then we earn say 35% of that which is only 17.5% in the end.

My point being that unless you are being paid 100% of revenue generated by Jackpot Capital (highly doubtful) and then paying commission on that full amount, then what is the point? Why wouldn't I just send my players direct to them?

Hi dominique,

No - Royal Joker is not bundled with the Brightshare casinos.

And Vladi,

Regarding U.S. traffic share, IF any affiliate by any chance has some traffic with us, so they will get something instead of nothing. Of course you can always send your traffic directly to them.

This offer is only to have existing remnant US traffic some reward.

I hope it's clear this time

Hi All,

Thank you all for your feedback.

The basic idea here is that we really are not asking our affiliates sending us U.S. traffic, ONLY IF ANY of our affiliate BY MISTAKE still have some U.S. traffic left over with us, then they will get something instead of nothing.

Hope this is clear and helpful

But how hard could it have been to implement a system that would have worked in our favor 100% rather than create a system obviously more complicated that lines your own pockets with our traffic?

PS: as Slotplayer mentioned, like the one at CR

Hi Everyone,

We may (don't want to promise) have the option to excluding affiliates from the redirect.

I'm collecting names of affiliates who want this so please email me at lloyda [at] brightshare.com

Thanks,

Lloyd

Hi Lloyd, just to clarify, Jackpot Capital is no longer being used for USA traffic,
all banners, links and free flash games are now redirected to All Slots US.

For all other (non-usa traffic) all JPF casino links work as usual including the free flash games?

All US players have been purged from the BrightShare backend
and reside with third party All Slots US and only the active US players, now playing at All Slots US remain in the BS backend?

Does non-active players include closed accounts?

What exactly determines a non-active account anyway?

Do we know what All Slots US plans on doing with the non-active player db?

thanks

Nope, new US players can't register at All Slots US

Correct

and reside with third party All Slots US and only the active US players, now playing at All Slots US remain in the BS backend?
Right, except the US players, now playing at All Slots US are in their backend (All Slots US Affiliates)

Does non-active players include closed accounts?
Closed accounts are non-active for sure, but non-active aren't necessary closed accounts

What exactly determines a non-active account anyway?
Player who has no activity - purchasing, wagering, etc.

Do we know what All Slots US plans on doing with the non-active player db?
No, sorry, I don't

Hope that helps...

Thanks
