What happened!

I just got an email with somekind of promotion for SlotsMillion and noticed a small line saying, now that Tropezia Palace is on their own?

I never received any information about this? Or they added it in little prints under a promotional email maybe?

Where did they go? What program do they use now? Do links still work, are visits tracked?

Anybody else knew about this?

I got this email on April 27th from Affiliate Republik

Hi,

After a long and happy partnership it is time for Tropezia Palace and Affiliate Republik to part ways.

Tropezia Palace have come to a point where they will manage all their affiliate traffic from their own platform Tropezia Affiliates (http://affiliates.tropeziapalace.com/) where you in the future will continue to track your players and revenue. The migration to the new platform will happen on May 1st 2015.

MOST IMPORTANT INFO

1. Negative carry over will be introduced with the migration to the new program.

2. Your players will be migrated over to the new platform and you will not lose any players or future revenue.

3. The Affiliate Republik links and trackers will work until end of May 2015 whereafter you need to swap them to new trackers from the Tropezia Palace affiliate backend.

Starting 1st of May, you will be able to log in to Tropezia Affiliates using the same username and password as you had in Affiliate Republik. (http://affiliates.tropeziapalace.com/)

The statistics of Tropezia Palace for April 2015 will be available in Affiliate Republik platform until end of May 2015.

We thank Tropezia Palace for a long and lucrative cooperation and wish them best of luck in the future.

If you have any questions regarding the matter please contact affiliates@tropeziapalace.com as well as adnan@affiliaterepublik.com.

Best Regards
The Affiliate Republik Team

Knew about this some time ago - and was more than a little bit surprised!
The new Tropezia Palace affy have NCO - so just yesterday I took their casino off all my sites.

I e-mailed the new affy team at least a month ago - no reply.
This casino is definitely going to fold in the not too distant future (1 year max) - I would put my money on that.
Best avoided is my advice.

Guys and girls - you should promote SlotsMillion instead. We have build a monster casino with over 800 desktop slots and over 250 mobile slots. Our platform is super fast and some players who have not been able to play Rival for 2 years can now play without a problem.
We have games from 21 different providers and the casino players love it.
Check out SlotsMillion if you have not already done so.

Actually, this extreme case is related to a player from Asia; he is not even able to load the games on any other Rival casino.

And yes, Canucks can play Rival games on SlotsMillion!

Anyone ever get any response from Tropezia affiliates? I tried to contact them numerous times but nothing, very rogue behavior.
No great loss though.

As far as I can see this was an internal shifting around not actually changing of ownership. Email sent out on the 8th of June:

AffRepublik said:
Important T&C Update
As we have previously communicated, Tropezia Palace has claimed independence and moved away from Affiliate Republik, this was finalised by the end of May 2015. Please update your trackers if you have not yet done so.

Also, Affiliate Republik as a brand has changed it's owner from Fitzgerald Industries to Alea Gaming, and now falls under the Alea group together with SlotsMillion. This internal change does not imply any changes for you, you still have the same deal and same terms of your contract.

We have updated the current Terms and Conditions to match the move over to Alea group. At the same time, we have removed the standard revenue share commission information as all future deals will be based on performance.

So whether or not your aff account is being run separately, it's the same people at the top of the ladder who run SlotsMillion.

To me this looks a little like side stepping retroactively adding NCO by saying 'ah but they're a new company'.....

That said it does state that "you still have the same deal and same terms of your contract", so that would indicate the opposite, that if you didn't have NCO when you were working with Tropezia at AR you won't have it now.

Far from clear overall.....

There's also no terms and conditions what-so-ever on the Trop aff site.

it's the same people at the top of the ladder who run SlotsMillion.

While I understand why a company would want to distance itself from the Tropezia Palace scandal, I will never understand why people choose to try and hoodwink affiliates et al with blatant misleading dribble.

It reminds me of Wild Jacks (Jackpot Factory) who claimed they were under "new ownership". You can read about that at the CM forum. It was total BS and all they'd done was change company details, same people at the top of the ladder.

Yeah I remember that - it was a load of non-sense. It appears to have amounted to 'we don't want WJ's to be part of this any more so its not even though it is'.

I haven't heard about the Trop Palace scandal though so if you have a link on that it would be appreciated.

I don't have a link though I believe it was discussed here at AGD. In a nut shell... content within the site which was supposed to be legit and genuine (eg photos of management/staff & the attached quotes etc), well... they weren't. It was all a big con!
