As the terms are today and not knowing if these terms are being retroactively applied - I will move Star Partner into the predatory category in preparation for ROGUE in the event that these terms are retroactive. At this time I would pull all of their links/casinos from your site until they can speak towards the AWFUL terms they have implemented.

Ditto about the big fish, they all must be swimming towards the house account or something else is in play like this Betsson AM calvinayre.com/2015/11/28/business/betsson-affiliate-manager-accused-stealing-153k/ They seem to throw cherry picked affiliates a few crumbs each month just to keep them on the hook. This program appears to be set-up only to provide free traffic to their casinos & they have no intentions of paying affiliates for their work fairly. Star Partners IMHO is a 100% con these days....

I had one big fish - but it was a hungry one!
They won over $10,000 in August 2014 and have been in quarantine ever since.
The player has never come back to play again, but since they're quarantined anyway - I don't really care!

Apart from that - yep, all minnows.
I've worked with Star (and BS + FL) pretty much since the start (2007 actually), and though they have never been stellar, they have been slow steady burners and I can't honestly say have any cause to seriously doubt them.
They all pay on time & have not dumped any predatory crap on me (yet..!)

Paragraph 9.2. quite directly indicates that these terms will be retroactive applied to some contracts.

There has been discussion about many customers being cross promoted in the past which is the biggest known issue with this company for anyone who has long standing customers with them. Due to the reputation of the VPL casinos I was intended to promote them again but realizing this put these plans to rest for the time being.

Their senior management have been in business for long enough to know what they are doing.

Ah, yes, you are correct. I'm not sure how I missed that!!! I will say that the revshare is more favorable than it was previously. It is the other parts that worry me. Like the inactivity clause where they can reconstruct your commission however they want. I don't like that at all.

As far as that betsson article. I like at the end where Betsson says it hasn't affected affiliates. lol! Really? So - he retagged from house accounts where they were not giving commission and it took that long to catch him? I think not. Sounds, to me, like Betsson won this one because they wont' tag back the players.

Star has been redirecting USA and UK traffic we send them to other programs for a long time now. I complained here and at the GP probably 6 months or so ago and was told they just add earning to out accounts...no stats available its just added lol.

You may be right. Last Feb I said:

... but since June these earnings just vanished: $0 every month after being +$something every month for many years.
Asked them, and they just "washed over" the subject - no explanation.

In all honesty, I don't know how any MGS casinos survive these days. (maybe why 32Red has sold to UniBet). Before NetEnt etc, MGS were the top of the heap. But now, well, I'm sure the huge amounts of money accummulated throughout that rein, is now dwindling at a fast rate of knots.

And who gets hammered when this happens, affiliates, and players (nasty FU terms; stalled payments etc.,)

Made a few hundred a month, nothing brillant. Never, ever managed a single whale, much less any decent income. Least not compared to other MGS casinos promoted. I gave em the flick after some drama with Casino Mate, which centred around being fed BS.
