Hey all - just wondering on your opinions regarding Bet365 as a programme.

Here's the run-down: I recently started up my new site as my first venture into affiliate marketing beginnergambling .com . I ran an article about Bet365 and responsible gambling ethics after it became apparent their advertising was promoting to problem gamblers. While researching problem gaming, I googled the term 'Quit Gambling' and was surprised to see the had a sponsored ad for that term. I was a little shocked, so wrote a small post about it and left it there.

Yesterday their Marketing Manager contacted me on behalf of their CEO to issue a full apology and explain in great detail how it occurred. He's nice enough and having done a fair bit of work on Adwords I could see he was legit in his description of where they messed up. I checked and the search term now doesn't return any ads. We discussed it, I updated the article to reflect their reply and left it there. However he then came back to me encouraging me to promote their brand on my next project or alongside Willy Hills on my current one. I've used Bet365, though not as regularly as WH, so might consider it.

However what's the programme like? I've read mixed reviews on them. Is it worth getting into bed with them on this?

Thanks in advance :)

they are one of the best performing brands tbh but you need to have a long think. the trouble with them is they have negative carryover and if you aren't sending big numbers then you can get wiped out by a big win and take a while to claw that back

they are one of the best overall though

Thanks - I've already got Willy Hills who have NCO. Are there any bookies out there in the UK who DON'T? I always figured it as an acceptable part of the business plan.

I've been doing this for 2 weeks and so far have accumulated a grand total of 90p in commission :D:D:D, so I'm very much still finding my way!

I would have posted the exact same thing!
I made my record with Bet365 - 30 months in the RED!
So that means I was actively promoting them for 2.5 years (with active players) and I earned precisely £0.00 :(

But that was way back in 2009 - 2011; since then I've just had one spell of 7 months and a few odd months in the red - the rest of the time OK (touch wood!)

As sports is "not my thing" I'm not sure if there are any decent bookies without NCO...
What I do know, is I will NEVER EVER sign up to promote any casino which has it. It just totally sucks for 99% of affiliates.

sports has started to change for the worse with many moving to carryover as default. if you can send decent traffic though many will negotiate and clear that. when i had my last project i think william hill and bet365 were the only ones not to budge on it although mcbookie did switch to NCO and i didn't bother asking as they had always performed so wasn't that bothered

For sports, 365 are one of the best - if not the best - bookies out there.

Coverage is high so there are saturation issues (meaning you'll get less accounts v an unknown bookie) but account value and retention are both fantastic. It's like deposits and turnover just grow and grow the more time goes on.

Plenty of bookies have NCO, I wouldn't make that a deal breaker.

If you want to make a success in this industry, drop William Hill at 9am tomorrow when you start work! These guys are plain robbers and theives. They'll skim your best players from your account and drop in massive negative losses once in a while, while then encouraging you to set up new accounts on new, more attractive deals. This is the way these charlatans operate. Lure you in hook line and sinker, then suck you up and spit you out. Not to forget, they drop your rev share to just 5% if you're not doing that well. With a summer of little football coming up you might fall into this trap too.

You're much better off sending your William Hill players to bet365. If you don't, then some other affiliate will capture your players and they'll migrate to bet365 anyway - it's a much better product offering.
