Hi Lloyd

Can you explain more about (exact %, if it is possible):

"third party licensing fees" = ??? %
"duties and taxes" = ??? %
"any other cost incurred by the Company due to a fraudulent and/or abusive activity of the Customer" = ??? %

presented in Your NetRevenue Formula,
(2.7. “Net Revenue” means the total wagers of a Customer minus (i) winnings, (ii) bonuses, (iii) chargebacks, (iv) third party licensing fees, (v) jackpot insurance contributions, (vi) duties and taxes, and (vii) any other cost incurred by the Company due to a fraudulent and/or abusive activity of the Customer.)

Thanks

Hi,
Please let me know if this helps:

"third party licensing fees" = varies according to Software provider
"duties and taxes" = currently relevant for UK online, where we are taking a license and will be paying both licensing fees and income tax
"any other cost incurred by the Company due to a fraudulent and/or abusive activity of the Customer" = no percentage, only is there in actual case of fraud or abuse - is the direct cost deducted (same as chargebacks)

presented in Your Net Revenue Formula,

Hi Lloyd,

Why is bonus money deducted? Is it not "real" money until a player wins off it?
I have several retail sites so I'm familiar with the multitude of vendor costs associated in running a business but when it comes to bonus money I can't see it as genuine overhead unless there is some cost I'm not aware of.

Hi Slotplayer,

We calculate like most casinos the net wagering, less the winnings to get to gross income which includes the bonus money, as the first part of the calculation. For example say a player deposits $100 and receives $100 bonus plus 100 free spins on Starburst. So, the player has now $210 to play with and wagers the money 100X = $21,000 total wagering and wins $20,790, the gross win is therefore $210 (i.e. the player is left with no balance) from this we need to deduct the bonus money of $110 to arrive at the gross income of $100. Does that make sense to you?

Please let me know. Thanks.

Hi,
Please let me know if this helps:

Of Course not, as I wrote earlier I am interested in an exact %. Why? ... because this percentage can be more than 20-30%.

We deduct 19% for software vendor fees. This is based on what we are paying on average to our vendors. Processing fees are actual at around 5-6%. Hope that helps. For UK we will be paying 15% of gross revenues as income tax plus additional licensing fees.

I think what is VERY clear in this discussion is this.... How open and honest Lloyd is about calculations. This is refreshing, IMO. I think this shows that the program is open, honest, and Lloyd has the power and ability to discuss things we want to know about the program.

not trying to be biased or 'suck up', but I like to see this :)

Partially I agree with you - but I think most of this information could be obtained after the registration.

Can you tell me - where you also worked previously.

Thanks
